Warrior Happenings

Middle School Choir Makes Beautiful Music The middle school choir, under the direction of Mrs. Lisa Woods, presented their spring concert on Wednesday evening, April 13. The students delighted those in attendance with selections including Count On Me, When The Saints Go Marching In, and Swinging On A Star. Check out our Facebook page for a short video of the performance. Bravo! Warrior vocalists!

G.I.R.L.S Club Members Work Together Learning to accomplish a goal sometimes requires learning to work together. Members of the G.I.R.L.S. Club experienced this by constructing a ten cup pyramid without touching the cups with their hands! Information & photo submitted by Robert Roach.

ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT NEWS Warrior Girls’ Golf Team Qualifies For Regionals With their second place finish in the district tournament on Monday, April 11, the Warrior girls’ golf team has qualified for regionals. The team members advancing are Hailey Watterson, Casey Gaige, Lauren Reagan and Haley Mittlestaedt. (See photo at left.) Watterson and Reagan will also compete in the individual round of the tournament, which takes place on Monday, April 18 at the Fair Oaks Ranch Golf and Country Club in Fair Oaks, Texas. Warrior Baseball & Softball Teams In The Thick Of District Race The Warrior baseball team took a break After suffering back to back losses against from district play when they faced Snook Baytown Christian (4-10, 0-7), the Warrior High School in a home contest on April softball team closed out their regular 8. Middle School Track Teams Finish In First & Second Place Congratulations to the middle school Warrior boys’ and girls’ track teams! At the recent HAPS district meet, the boys’ team came away with a first place finish and the HAPS championship! The girls’ team also competed well and finished in second place.
