A MESSAGE FROM J.J. HOLLIE
Welcome to a new Chamber year! As many of you know, The Chamber operates on a fiscal year with each new year beginning September 1st. We have an exciting year planned, continuing to bring you opportunities and resources to benefit, grow and advocate for your business.
We have launched the Business Diversity Solution Council to educate our business community on utilizing diverse channels of opportunity and to make a positive impact on our members through leadership, integrity, support and teamwork.
Election season is upon us, and The Chamber will continue to bring you events and information to help you make informed voting decisions.
On September 29, 2023, we will hold our Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon to recognize Members who have distinguished themselves and to honor Legacy Award Recipient Jim Blair.
In October you will have the opportunity to show off your golf swing at the Golf Classic on the 17th and turn back the clock as our Young Professionals Network hosts a Prom Through Decades event on the 28th. We end 2023 with The Woodland Business Summit which has become a premier event in the area in just three short years.
As we move into 2024, we will have Taste of the Town in January, the Economic Outlook Conference in February followed by the Health Wellness and Fitness Expo and the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon in April.
From Signature Events to free and paid marketing opportunities, Business Connection events and serving on teams and committees, I encourage you to take advantage of all the Chamber has to offer. Please let us help you find your Pathway to Opportunity.
Thank you to Immediate Past Chairman, Jim Carman, for his forward-thinking leadership and passion for growing The Woodlands area business community. Our thanks to the Board Members whose term has come to an end. You all leave office with The Chamber and the business community positioned for future success. We are coming off of a historic year in terms of organizational performance and event success, which has been driven by our incredible team of dedicated volunteers, the never-ending efforts of our Chamber staff, and the leadership of our Board of Directors.
