The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Another

Successful Woodlands Area Business Summit

The 4th annual Woodlands Area Business Summit, hosted by The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, was a major success. The Business Summit, which attracts 300 members of the business community, has quickly become a premier business event for small and mid-sized businesses in The Woodlands area.

This year’s Keynote Speaker was Former Navy Seal Judson Kauffman who served as a sniper and team leader with three combat deployments in the Middle East, earning multiple decorations. He later transitioned into business, where he co-founded three successful companies across different industries. Kauffman’s message of “Beyond Resilience”

resonated with the Business Summit’s focus on how businesses can weather uncertain times and create long term success.

In addition to Kauffman’s keynote address, the Summit featured Chamber members leading breakout sessions and two panels supporting the event themes: Beyond the N.O.W. (Navigating, Obstacles, Ways to Wisdom) and Built to Last (Starting ~ Staffing ~ Supporting ~ Succession).

As the only homegrown business summit in The Woodlands, The Woodlands Area Business Summit draws on the wealth of talent that exists in The Woodlands business community. Breakout room speakers and panel participants are all members of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, chosen through a careful application process to ensure that attendees have access to topics that are diverse, relevant and innovative.

“An essential part of serving the business community is equipping them with the information and tools they need to both build success and navigate challenges,” said Aaron Cox, President & CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. The Business Summit is an exceptional vehicle for delivering these tools.  It presents timely and relevant information attendees can use today as well as connectivity to experts that are here in our community.”

The Chamber thanks the sponsors who supported the Business Summit, especially Presenting Sponsor, Consolidated Communications, a longtime supporter of the Chamber and the local business community.
