WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST

MADDOX RESINGER (Townsperson) is a 4th grader making his acting debut in The Music Man, which was also his first professional audition! He has always loved singing and acting out skits with his 3 older brothers. With two brothers already a part of Woodford Theatre Young Artists, and a third cast in The Descendants, Maddox felt destined for the stage. Maddox is so excited to be in the children’s ensemble, and is learning so many new things as a cast member! In his spare time, Maddox spends his time playing outside with his friends, drawing, and taking care of his two dogs.

TYLER ROSSO (Constable Locke / Traveling Salesman) is excited to be returning to the stage after a 5 year hiatus, and is grateful for the opportunity to join his first production with the Woodford Theatre family. Previous credits include Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Mr. Webb in Our Town, Cardinal Barberini/Pope Urban VIII in Galileo, Alf in Peter and the Star Catcher, Bustopher Jones in CATS, Brujon/Joly in Les Miserables, and The Bishop of Ely in Richard III. Additionally, Tyler has numerous film and television appearances. Tyler would like to thank his entire family for their ongoing love and support.

AMANDA SHIH (Featured Dancer) after ending her pursuit of a career in ballet, Amanda was a choreographer for several years in a youth theater. In recent years she has been a farmer, homeschool mother, and professional doctor's wife. She enjoys riding her horse, snuggling her cows, working in the garden, making butter and sourdough bread, and teaching children about pioneer living. All praise to Jesus, the Director of the Play of Life. He is the author of creativity and the source of true joy.

EMMA SHIH (Townsperson) is excited about her debut stage production! She enjoys playing soccer and being with her friends. She loves creating art; specifically painting with acrylics. Emma is an active member of both CHEB homeschool co-op and the youth group at Centerpoint Church.

MADELINE SMITH (Mrs. Paroo) is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she earned a bachelor's degree in Theatre with a musical theatre certificate. She has performed in countless shows across the bluegrass with favorite roles including Tracy in Hairspray, Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda, and Vera in She Kills Monsters. After taking a break from the stage to have her son, Walter, (and heal a very broken ankle) Madeline is ecstatic to be back as Mrs. Paroo. Much love to my boys!

HAYDEN SYPOLT (Farmer & Travelling Salesman) was a member of Tates Creek High School where he was a member of chorus throughout all 4 years, which he participated at KMEA and Comstock. He was an usher for his high school’s production of Chicago and performed as a Reporter in their production of Failure: A Love Story! He also performed as Pig Pen in the Jessamine Arts production of You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown! Hayden attends Southland Christian Church where he volunteers with student ministry and serves at student retreats. He currently works at Kroger as a Courtesy / Utility clerk.

DOUGLAS TATTERS (Charlie Cowell & Featured Dancer) is excited to be making his acting debut with Woodford Theatre's The Music Man He has previously been a part of the production team for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Little Shop of Horrors, and Irving Berlin's White Christmas with Woodford Theatre as well as The Little Mermaid Jr. with Jessamine County Arts+. Doug Currently serves as the Arts and Humanities Teacher at Arlington Elementary School in Lexington, KY. This past school year, Doug helped to create Arlington's first theatre program and direct their school-wide performance of Disney's Frozen Kids. He would like to thank the cast and crew for being so welcoming and supportive through the entire production process.

KODY WHITE (Featured Dancer) is thrilled to be making his Woodford Theatre mainstage debut! Kody is a senior at West Jessamine High School, and has had the privilege of working with many theatre companies in the central Kentucky area, including Leeds Center for the Arts, Jessamine County Arts+ Theatre, and of course his high school theatre program! Kody is a student of the Woodford Theatre Young Artists program, and is excited to keep pursuing theatre!
