A collaborative urban farming project set in Hamtramck, Michigan. Beginning with the abstract study of fruits and vegetables of our choice and our subsequent architectural interpretations, we then joined forces with a partner to create a mash-up [in this case, an onion and a strawberry]. We ultimately designed a vibrant and dynamic environment which brings together the diverse Hamtramck community and promotes a new approach to urban farming around detroit.

The project provides three standards of farming: an experimental microclimate pod farm, a live performance farm, and an underground hydroponic farm.

Digital descension was the result of an interdisciplinary studio that involved collaboration between architecture, landscape architecture and architectural engineering students. Designed as a digital media library at the College of San Mateo, our design focused on a central circulation corridor that takes people from the elevation of the existing library down to the street, while at the same time providing an engaging digital media experience as well as

Climate change today is surprisingly still argued about on both sides and often discussion is impossible for people of differing viewpoints without conflict arising. The Harmony Climate Change Center, located at the Morro Bay waterfront, allows for this. One moves from the discussion floor, filled with exhibits and discussion spaces, to the education floor, containing classrooms and boat storage, to finally the subterranean floor, where reflection about the

In today’s Los Angeles, the gym has transitioned from a once cold, damp space that one went to focus solely on improving their fitness to a social club of barely clad bodies engaging with amenities that rival a five-star resort. The gym has now become a place for people to be put on display. The Link Gymnasium addresses this recent change in mentality. It provides carved out atriums where people can be observed doing many activities in bustling Downtown LA, be it

rock-climbing, running, weightlifting, or yoga. It also adapts to the awkward triangular nature of the site by providing a direct means of circulation through the site by foot, bike or car.
