Small but Mighty: WNHGA Shines at Valley Hi Season Finale

Congratulations to our “small and mighty” WNHGA team for a fantastic showing at the Valley Hi season finale, where they proudly earned a third-place finish!

Decked out in patriotic red, white, and blue, Rhonda Craig came through with clutch putting—sinking net birdies—while partner Christy Frank delivered her signature steady performance, even adding a gross birdie to the scorecard. The duo of Kathy Cockayne and Jennie Fuller brought their A-game as well, stacking up points with net pars and birdies across five holes.

Nancy Little and Cindy Ciboch found their rhythm on the greens, mastering the course with precise putting that propelled them ahead of the home team and helped lock in the team’s strong finish.

In the Captain’s Flight, Cathy Maciel stole the spotlight with pinpoint drives and a red-hot putter, carding net birdie after net birdie. Her partner, Melissa Krebill, captured the moment perfectly, saying, “It never gets old… golf is fun!”
