Traveling with pets

The ultimate guide for Stress-free winter trips

When you love someone, you do everything in your power to protect them. I thought I was keeping my dog Luna safe by using commonly recommended fleaand-tick control. But when she became ill, I knew there had to be a better way.

I founded Wondercide® to protect pets, families, and homes with plant-powered solutions. Today, our products protect Packs of every kind, everywhere.

Dear Pack Members,

Join us in celebrating a momentous milestone: 15 years of plant-powered goodness with our vibrant community of over 3 million families strong. At Wondercide, we take pride in our lab-proven pest protection lineup that harnesses the formidable power of nature, empowering you to safeguard the ones you love.

As we reflect on this journey, we’re deeply grateful that you trust us with your family. That trust will continue to guide everything we do.

This autumn magazine includes a problemsolutions guide to bugs, top ways to make the most of fall, how to enter our annual Reclaim The Leaf Pile contest, and more.

Love to you, Wonder Pack.

The in your home

Roaches

What.

Flat, oval-shaped body. Six long, spiny legs. Fast. Some have wings and can fly.

Where.

In kitchens and bathrooms, under sinks, near food. Outside in garbage cans, brush, leaf litter.

How.

These creepy crawlers are often blamed on poor housekeeping, and they can get inside by hitching a ride on infested items from outdoors, via cracks and gaps in a home, or through drains. Some even fly inside, attracted by lights. They leave their droppings wherever they go.

Fruit Flies

What.

Small flies that feed on fruits, leaves, plant secretions, and honeydew from aphids. Known to annoy and stress us out.

Where.

In the kitchen or anywhere you have sweet things for them to eat.

Ants

What.

Skinny, crawling bugs with bent antennae. Most are brown. Three distinct body parts.

Where.

They nest underground outdoors in anthills or inside trees in large groups called colonies.

How.

These social bugs live, work, and travel in large numbers together. Ants enter homes through gaps around doors, holes in window screens, and cracks. They can also hitch a ride with pets or items brought in from the outside like a plant, flowers, garden produce, or boxes from the garage.

How.

These stealthy bugs sneak into your house on produce or squeeze through window and door screens.

Flying Insect Trap

Say goodbye to indoor insects:

Gnats: Typically found around houseplants or moist areas with organic material. They become a nuisance by flying into faces and swarming in living spaces.

Fruit Flies: Commonly located near ripe or fermenting fruits and vegetables. Their nuisance factor comes from their rapid reproduction and tendency to swarm around food sources.

Mosquitoes: Can be found anywhere in the home because they can get through the tiniest spaces such as windows, doors, ventilation systems.

Works

24/7 so you don't have to

An easy way to get rid of bugs with zero chemical insecticides. Our Blu-V™ light attracts flying insects and the adhesive cartridge traps them. Plug it in. Let it work.

Use anywhere in your home

Use around the home including in kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, entryways, near trash cans, enclosed patios, and any other indoor areas you see flying insects.

Moths: Found near food storage areas (pantry moths) and in closets or drawers (clothes moths). They are a nuisance due to the damage their larvae cause to food and clothing.

Fleas

What:

T

iny. Wingless. Parasitic. Identified by an itching pet or black and white specks in fur. Known to cause dermatitis, tapeworm, and anemia.

Where:

Grass. Shaded areas under trees. Cracks in flooring.

How:

These tremendous leapers quickly spread to multiple hosts and into your home. Many wild animals carry fleas that can then end up in your yard or nearby trails — making environmental control vital. Wherever an infested animal goes is where the flea life cycle can exist!

Ticks

What:

Arachnid. Hardy. Climbers. Identified by feeling a small bump on pet’s skin. Known to carry Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

Where:

Tall grasses, gardens, leaves. Dark, damp areas, heavily-wooded areas.

How:

Ticks are usually picked up accidentally by brushing against grass or plants. Because total prevention is difficult, deterring them from staying on your pet and attaching to them is key.

Did you know?

Adult fleas make up only 5% of the flea population, but they can lay thousands of eggs in their lifetime. Plus, eggs can hatch in as little as two days, so the problem can get out of control fast.
