The Mompreneur CEO Virtual Awards Gala kicked off with a blast on Sunday, May 22, 2022. The inaugural event, hosted by visionary founder Dionne Greaves, The Mompreneur CEO, was aimed at celebrating amazing melanin moms who are doing incredible things in their business, career, community and ministry.

The Official MC for this auspicious occasion was none other than Sabryia Reese aka The Fairy Brandmother. Sabryia glid the audience through the evening’s proceedings with much whit, class and elegance leaving lasting impressions with her unique introductions of each speaker who was set to ignite the stage! You have not been properly introduced unless you have been introduced by The Fairy Brandmother! OK?

FireTalk Speakers Dr. Tia Murry and Tiffany R. Easley along with Official Keynote Speaker, Dr. Nakita Davis brought the house down and burnt the stage to the ground with their respective messages. Ten mompreneurs received special recognition and awards for their contributions to during - LaToya “LR” Wilson started the ball rolling as she received the Trailblazer Award. Next up was Dr. Jacquelyn Wilson - The Street Doctor who walked away with both the Powerhouse and Overcome Awards followed swiftly by Dr. Tia Murry who also received awards in two categories for Exceptional Leadership and Community Service Excellence.

Elizabeth Olujimi, received the Rising Star award, followed by Dr. Frances Ann Bailey who received the Global Initiative Award. Rounding up the official presentation ceremony were Sabryia Reese, Corina Towns and September Higgs who received the Creative Genius, Most Outstanding Mompreneur and Bridge Builder awards respectively.

Special honorary awards were given to the incomparable Dr. Nakita Davis who received The Mompreneur CEO Lifetime Achievement Award for her dynamic contributions to the entrepreneurship and Dr. Angela Harden-Mack who received The Exceptional Mompreneur Award for her sterling contributions to non-surgical weight loss in the medical field.
