KNOWINGWHENTOUNPLUG! KNOWINGWHENTOUNPLUG!

There are moments in my business when I make a totally unplanned decision to unplug from the external world and take some time out to be present with the people that I love and care about

Prior to last October, the last seven years of my life were spent glued to a laptop or mobile device 95 percent of the time If people wanted to spend time with me they were guaranteed it would be interrupted by a work-related phone call or something that needed to be dealt with urgently.

After becoming a full-time entrepreneur a few months ago, I made a silent resolution to discontinue the dysfunctional habits of corporate so that I wouldn't become a slave to my business I decided to make the time count with the people I love by first being present The morning after I walked away from my corporate job I felt an intense need to enjoy human interaction a bit more than I normally would and to be honest, it felt so good to just be present, soaking in the sights and sounds, enjoying the love and laughter, great conversations, and doing silly stuff

These unplugged moments are key to creating the mompreneur magic in everyday life! Knowing when to unplug is essential to keeping your sanity throughout this journey and it is the game-changer that truly allows you to show up as the best version of yourself for you, your family, friends, ministry, clients, and community

Here are a few things that I have grown to appreciate tremendously in these moments:

I am grateful for my community and support system - as small as it is, I don't know how I would have made it through the toughest parts of this journey.

I am grateful for the time and freedom to step back and enjoy the nuances of life I didn't realize how much I was missing out on living life as hectic as I have My son has set the pace and I love it!

I am grateful for the opportunity to tap deeper into my creativity. Taking this downtime to unplug stir up my creative juices. Ideas have been flowing endlessly and my imagination is opened up to even greater possibilities

I am grateful for the divine strategies received from God in those quiet moments. These strategic downloads have allowed me to generate an unlimited amount of income simply by the implementation of action by faith

I am grateful for the ability to thrive, evolve and become the woman God has called me to be without limitation
