Women have been making and setting history
Who do you remember from history as being the greatest Egyptian ruler - Cleopatra Who holds the longest reign of any British monarch - Queen Elizabeth II. Who sparked the civil rights movement in America - Rosa Parks. Women have never been nor will ever continue to be silent. Together, we will break any glass ceiling above us and help other women do the same. It is time for us to unite, empower each other, and create a positive global impact. Let's stop tearing other women down, commenting on looks, and being petty, but rather use our words for kindness, support, and love. Only then will we be able to make HerStory and ensure that women from all walks of life have equal access to success. Let's rise & thrive!

Women's empowerment has become a huge topic of interest and a key factor in the development of gender equality and business sustainability across our communities worldwide. How can women make history? I believe, one of the key factors that we as women can practice is supporting each other in the world of entrepreneurship, connecting with and collaborating with other females who might complement what we do in our businesses. When we raise each other up, every female benefits, and by building each other’s businesses we can significantly increase the impact females can make in the world of entrepreneurship.

We have had to sacrifice our health, well-being, and womanhood too often for our seat at the table. By becoming the change we want to see we can break up with the conditioning that history has put on us by breaking down the systemic barriers that have prevented us from achieving our full potential. We can reclaim our voice and ask for opportunities and inclusivity in all aspects of life. We become history by inspiring other women to do the same, to walk alongside us by being role models, supporting and mentoring other women, and sharing their stories of success and overcoming obstacles.
As women, we can help build true connections, nurturing networks, and supportive communities. By using our voices and platforms to create change, women can make a lasting impact on society and pave the way for future generations of women. We leave a legacy behind for those who walk behind us and those yet to come. >>
Alex, how can women use their voices to make an impact?
Years ago women were not allowed to have a voice
They couldn’t vote, be active in politics, run their own business, be CEOs, or even take part in sporting events They weren’t heard, were invisible, and had no power Times have changed and right now Women DO HAVE a voice But they’re often afraid to use it
They don’t feel good enough, they lack confidence, and they question if what they want to say really matters and if can make a difference It does So how women can use their voice to make an impact: Share your story Whatever is personal is universal Whatever you’ve been going through, good or bad Oftentimes women suffer quietly, feeling scared, ashamed, messed up, and broken, thinking there’s something wrong with them And listening to or reading the story of other women, who had a similar experience can actually help, be that sparkle to make a change
Be a speaker Host your own events - online or offline, have a podcast and be a guest on other platforms Share your story, teach and educate, and empower other women how they can be, do, and have anything they want to Be the voice they can resonate with, follow and make a change in their life Contribute As Tony Robbins says “The secret to living is giving” Give back Help the ones in need, use your voice to help the ones, who can’t have that voice, make a difference, show them how to overcome difficulties, how to keep going, and help them see the light at the end of the tunnel Be the light You can Use it
"Listening to or reading the story of other women, who had a similar experience can actually help, be that sparkle to make a change. "
Every day women strive to close the gender gap Historically this meant having to prove themselves and working twice as hard as their male counterparts to gain respect. The result was a competitive atmosphere where women felt threatened by other women. Women have since discovered there is room at the table for other women. There is power in numbers and having a tribe. When women invest in young girls and other women, they create a pipeline of intelligent women who are positioned to smash the glass ceiling with innovative thinking, groundbreaking work, and fearless leadership. While women who change the world have several common traits, two of the most important are: They never compete with other women. They are open to being coached and mentored by women and being a coach and mentor for other women.
As women, the BEST gift we can give ourselves is the gift of other women. When we commit to learning from, growing, and supporting other women, we open the doors to innovation, opportunities, collaboration, friendships, and a supportive network. We create a sisterhood of inspiration, encouragement, and cheerleaders who support one another to be the best version of themselves they can possibly be. FIND YOUR TRIBE!
Years ago if I was asked this question, I’d probably have though that I would need to accomplish something world-changing, some huge accomplishment recognized by the most influential people in the world. Today I know that history is made by women everywhere, every day who decide to serve others with empathy and integrity.
For me, making history happens when I show up as my authentic self; it happens when I own my story, all of it, and use it to inspire, encourage and empower others to LEAD (Live Everyday Above Defeat) through adversity. History is made when I raise my voice as a catalyst for change, growth, and transformation in the lives of the women I am called to serve.
Each woman has an opportunity to make history through her choices. We can choose to stay silent on issues that affect women in our communities, country, and throughout the globe or we can choose to use our influence to advocate on behalf of women who cannot speak or fight for themselves Each of us has a hurt to heal in this world, our job is to discover what that is and begin walking in our purpose to make woman healthy, healed, and whole through our God-given gifts, experiences, and wisdom
This book is a compilation of inspiring true stories of women overcoming adversity. Abuse. Addiction. Divorce. Trauma. Tragedy. Exploitation. Injustice we all have our obstacles to overcome The true stories in this book, bravely shared by women from very different backgrounds, living in very different worlds, prove that not only is it possible to thrive despite those obstacles, it’s often our obstacles that motivate us to rise to our power in ways we never believed possible. The stories of eight phenomenal women in this book stand testament to what is possible and how strong and determined women are; when we come together, we are unstoppable.
Following our official virtual book launch event on February 28th, we have been overwhelmed with feedback and beautiful comments about how our launch event inspired our audience. There is a traditional idea of leadership being about power and control, about forcing outcomes and projecting an air of superiority. Women leaders have often tried to fit into this dehumanizing model of leadership, to the detriment of their health, and wholeness.
byKawtarElAlaoui,LL.B,PCCThat is because women are socialized to be highly empathic, yet their empathy is still seen as a weakness in a highly masculine leadership, left-brained paradigm, and hence undervalued and underutilized While these traits are available to all genders, women certainly have an advantage. How can women turn their empathic superpower into a strength that supports their vitality and excellence as leaders?
The most important step is to recognize women have a choice, we do not need to lead cut off from empathy and care to “win” Research shows that the current dominant left-brain leadership culture costs companies, and communities staggering amounts in collateral healthcare costs to deal with the burnout and exhaustion that come from a dehumanizing leadership paradigm that is only driven by profit. Not to mention the devastating impact of an extractive mindset on resources, and communities.
Women are the key solution to creating more humanized workplaces where people can work from their gifts, experience psychological safety and belonging, and do amazing work while respecting their work-life balance, and enhancing the lives of their communities And the best way to achieve this is to live your purpose.
"The most important step is to recognize women have a choice, we do not need to lead cut off from empathy and care to “win”."
"Women are the key solution to creating more humanized workplaces . "
But isn’t that selfish, is a question I often hear women ask And the answer is absolutely not It is the highest act of selfless service you can step into. And here are three reasons why.
When you move through the world with an open heart, you feel the suffering of those around you. You see what others don’t recognize yet, and you can connect with people, motivate them and uplift them in a much better way. When your purpose is activated, the more you heal, you more you become magnetic to allies, and resources, amplifying your impact in ways that may have been unimaginable before you healed.
Contrary to popular belief, intuition is a skill
It can be honed But learning to understand and balance your intuition with your intellect is not an easy journey. It can take time, tools, and the willingness to grow The result is that you master decision-making in environments of high ambiguity, and complexity These are much-needed skills to tackle the world’s most pressing issues. When you can combine your logical mind with your intuitive brain, your decisions become sharper and more attuned to the needs of the communities you serve, and you become unstoppable. This is holistic leadership, that balances people, profit, and the planet And if you are reading this article, you probably already know this intuitively
"A holistic leadership, that balances people, profit, and the planet . "
a According to the Science of Pu individuals with a connection to experience 63% higher effectiv leadership, and 64% higher fulf you are caught in the grips of re and difficult past experiences, i you’re stuck, being useless to so to contribute The truth is you a work for the collective. Work th unseen, and unacknowledged, b takes more courage than most muster Once you move throug phase of your purpose, you will thriving, and only then will you deep impact your healing journ people Because they tell you A you can affect change where you felt powerless in the past. And that is the most rewarding part of living and leading with purpose. You heal while healing the world.

SELF-ESTEEM IS A FUNDAMENTAL ASPECT OF HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY. IT IS A CRITICAL DETERMINANT OF SUCCESS IN VARIOUS DOMAINS, INCLUDING BUSINESS, HEALTH, AND RELATIONSHIPS. THIS ARTICLE WILL EXPLORE WHY SELF-ESTEEM IS CRUCIAL TO SUCCESS IN THESE AREAS AND PROVIDE SOME STRATEGIES TO ENHANCE IT.
Firstly, let's define what we mean by self-esteem Self-esteem is the subjective evaluation of one's worth or value as a person It reflects an individual's overall sense of confidence and self-respect Self-esteem is essential to success because it influences how we think, feels, and behave in different situations
In the business world, self-esteem can make or break a person's career High selfesteem can enable individuals to take risks, seize opportunities, and make bold decisions without fear of failure It can also motivate individuals to pursue their goals with greater determination and resilience, even in the face of setbacks Conversely, low self-esteem can lead to self-doubt, fear, and indecisiveness, hindering progress and holding individuals back from reaching their full potential.
" Self-esteem motivate individuals to pursue their goals with greater determination and resilience."
Research has consistently shown that individuals with high self-esteem are more likely to succeed professionally They are more likely to be promoted, earn higher salaries, and enjoy greater job satisfaction. In contrast, those with low self-esteem are more likely to experience stress, burnout, and job dissatisfaction, which can negatively impact their career progression.
In the realm of health, self-esteem plays a crucial role in promoting physical and mental well-being. Individuals with high self-esteem are more likely to engage in healthy behaviours, such as regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate sleep. They are also less likely to engage in risky behaviours such as substance abuse, which can have negative health consequences. This example highlights my journey with increased selfesteem, contributing to my sobriety and wellbeing.
Additionally, high self-esteem is linked to better mental health outcomes, including lower rates of anxiety, depression, and stress. Conversely, low self-esteem is associated with higher rates of mental health problems and a greater likelihood of developing unhealthy coping mechanisms, such as binge eating or substance abuse.
Finally, self-esteem is a crucial factor in shaping the quality of our relationships. Individuals with high self-esteem are more likely to form healthy, supportive relationships that provide a sense of belonging and emotional support They are also more likely to set boundaries and communicate their needs effectively, which can help prevent conflicts and misunderstandings
On the other hand, individuals with low self-esteem may struggle to form meaningful relationships, as they may feel unworthy of love and support They may also struggle to assert themselves in relationships, leading to feelings of resentment, frustration, and isolation
So, how can we enhance our self-esteem to succeed in business, health, and relationships? Here are a few strategies:
Practice self-compassion: Treat yourself with kindness and understanding, just as you would treat a close friend or family member.
Challenge negative self-talk: Identify and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs that undermine your self-esteem.
Focus on your strengths: Celebrate your accomplishments and focus on your strengths and positive qualities.
Set realistic goals: Set achievable goals that align with your values and interests.
Cultivate supportive relationships: Surround yourself with people who uplift and encourage you, and seek opportunities to give and receive support.
In conclusion, self-esteem is critical in promoting success in business, health, and relationships We can enhance our performance, improve our well-being, and build healthy, fulfilling relationships by cultivating a strong sense of self-worth and confidence By practising self-compassion, challenging negative self-talk, focusing on our strengths, setting realistic goals, and cultivating supportive relationships, we can take concrete steps towards enhancing our self-esteem and achieving our full potential

As a woman whose life span began in the 50s, I am very appreciative of the strides women have made on a global scale With that being said I am also very perplexed that it would take an act of congress or Presidential Proclamation for us to be acknowledged. Don’t get me wrong, I am glad that at least our daughters are able to get a glimpse of how powerful of a force we are by the spotlight shining on our predecessors.
"I am glad that our daughters are able to get a glimpse of how powerful of a force we are. "
From the dawning of time, it has always taken a man and a woman to procreate life, and the one time in history where it is documented that the child was the offspring of God Almighty, still needed a woman to make His grand entrance into the earthly realm Yet we are told how gratified we should be because we are getting a whole month's worth of recognition considering where we have come from. Right!
This is not going to be an angry woman rant I promise you. I just want to drive my point home upfront so that you are not sitt around waiting for someone to validate you with their acknowledgment of you. Ladies, we are so much more than what society has dubbed us as. We are the EMBODIMENT O EMPOWERMENT!
I believe when God removed that rib fro Adam, He knew He had to put some very powerful stuff in the sinew, organs, and heart He was crafting to be called woman. Ladies, you have an inner strength and fortitude that can’t even be measured. You don’t believe me? Okay, I need you to do something for me.
We are going to take a journey back in time to the place where you first began to believe the lie of you being less than the incredible WOMAN OF GRACE AND ELEGANCE you were created to be. There is a place where you stopped believing in yourself and began to just accept things were just the way they were and there was nothing you could do about it.
That is the place where you surrendered your fight and gave up on your dreams and aspirations. You decided it was just too hard to fight for them anymore. Well, I have news for you!! You are well able to accomplish all that you can imagine. You need to reclaim that which you gave up to the situation or circumstance or voice that said you couldn’t To coin a popular phrase, YES YOU CAN!!!
Everything you need is within you You have been EMPOWERED to succeed I don’t care how many times you think you failed! Failures are simply learning experiences to teach you wisdom to carry into your next adventure
We all know someone who when they walk into a room there is a certain presence that walks in with them That air of “I have it all together” and that aura of confidence that they are victorious in all things they endeavor to do! Now the reality is that they don’t have it all together and they have probably had as many failures as you The difference is they know who they are deep within and have made up their mind there is no quit in them They have concluded that failure is not an option There may be more lessons to learn, but they have established within them that they will keep going until all the lessons for success have been learned
Now I want you to look in the mirror and determine that person is YOU! You are EMPOWERED from within The Bible states that as a man (woman) thinks in their heart so are they You have to know in your heart there is no box big enough to hold you, no ceiling that you can’t break through! You are an EMPOWERED WOMAN!! >>
"Ladies, you have an inner strength and fortitude that can’t even be measured."
In the words of Helen Reddy:
I am woman, hear me roar
In numbers too big to ignore
And I know too much to go back an' pretend
'Cause I've heard it all before
And I've been down there on the floor
And no one's ever gonna keep me down again
Yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I've gained
If I have to, I can do anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman
You can bend but never break me
'Cause it only serves to make me
More determined to achieve my final goal
And I come back even stronger
Not a novice any longer
'Cause you've deepened the conviction in my soul
Yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I've gained
If I have to, I can do anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman
I am woman, watch me grow
See me standing toe to toe
As I spread my lovin' arms across the land
But I'm still a little embryo
With such a long, long way to go
Until I make my brother understand
Oh yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I've gained
If I have to, I can face anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman

I’m sure you’ve heard that saying before. But what does it actually mean? It means that WHO you choose to become, is what is reflected back to you. So, if you feel empowered from within, you will attract people into your life who feel the same
This is self-empowerment It means making a conscious decision to take charge of your destiny by making positive choices to execute your decisions
Everything is energy and who you actually are from within, is projected back to you. Self-empowerment is about understanding yourself and knowing that you have the ability to move your mental and emotional state at any moment For example, have you ever noticed how one bad thing can turn into a list? Bad things, and before you know it, it turns into a bad day? This is because when we focus on something bad, we create more of it
This is why learning HOW to master your energy is important because once you are faced with any challenge or obstacle you can empower yourself to move through it into a more positive elevated state and emotion I like to refer to this as your inner ‘She-ra!’
When I was a child, there was something so intriguing to me about her cartoon character. She was known as the Princess of Power and that stuck with me There’s something so magnifying about a woman in her power. When a woman walks into a room you feel her energy. You instantly know if she lacks or embodies confidence. As a Woman in Business, we are no different We have to embody a higher elevated emotion and lead ourselves in expansive energy. This is what attracts things to you.
How To Anchor Your Inner She-Ra With ENERGY and INTENTION, you have the capacity to turn heads and catapult your business. Follow my 3 Top Tips.
"Self-empowerment is about understanding yourself."Lorna Jayne Energy Expert for High-Level Leaders
Lorna helps women in business regain energetic alignment and remove energy blocks keeping them stuck from creating their next level of success.
If you have an important business meeting, event, or call, set aside 10 minutes beforehand and close your eyes. Place your focus on your heart chakra and imagine a ball of light expanding outwards and flooding the room. This energy is what your colleagues will gravitate to.
Alchemise
doesn’t serve your ‘She-Ra’. Whenever you feel fear, anxiety, or unsafe, remember it will ripple out into your business if you don’t take the time to alchemise it. Close your eyes and imagine each of your 7 chakras being filled up with bright white light and ask your angels to remove anything that isn’t in alignment with your highest good. I would also recommend using a citrine crystal that balances your energy in your solar plexus (power centre).
Take responsibility for your own actions. Become the driver of your life by following through on your decisions. To succeed in life you’re going to have to take some risks, listen to your gut, and be guided by that. 1 2 3
Empowering yourself to make changes isn’t easy, it takes courage. Empowerment is about you taking charge of your own life and having the strength and courage to make it happen. Embracing your inner She-Ra will help get your mojo back so you can show the world your magic!
"As a Woman in Business, we have to embody a higher elevated emotion and lead ourselves in expansive energy."by Biba Pedron
March is women's history, but too often we are looking at the history of the past So, how can we change our lives to impact others and change their lives in the future?
We have a choice when it comes to doing what we want to do with our lives, how we want to spend our time, and who we want to be If you have a job you don’t like, if you don’t travel as much as you want, if you don’t live where you would like... it’s the result of your choices. Are you ready: To change the way people see you?
To take back control of your life?
To enjoy success beyond your wildest dreams?
You probably heard that you could get anything you want in life just by changing your mindset and your way of seeing things.
But is it that simple? Can your mindset really affect your physical reality? As Buddha said: “What we think, we become ” When you start to have more confidence in yourself and speak more firmly, you will see changes in the behavior of the people around you, and most importantly, you will find that they will have different perceptions of you and your personality
Do you think Oprah Winfrey or Tony Robbins wake up in the morning complaining all the time? Or shout that they are tired? No, they act as winners and attract people accordingly, whether partners, contracts, clients, or investors.
You need to start acting as if things are already done and successful, you will find that everything moves faster, and you
will attract the right people who will make your change happen faster too
The first step in becoming and achieving what you want is to believe. It sounds a bit simplistic, but that’s how it works. Your perception of things to this day is due to your upbringing and the values instilled in you since childhood. But this is not necessarily the reality. You are probably doing a lot of things out of habit and even following the patterns of your parents or grandparents without realizing it.
"We have a choice when it comes to doing what we want to do with our lives."
The circumstances of life, however, have changed Think of all the habits you have just because you saw your parents doing them, and you don’t even know why My mother used to mark the back of the bread, before she cut it, just because her grandfather was doing it When I was a little girl, it used to make me crazy because each time I asked, “why are you doing it each time?” she had no answer, she was just replicating what she saw when she was young So, I broke this family habit because it didn’t make sense to me And I’m sure you have some of those stories in your family too It just shows that we often do things more out of habit, as we were taught, than out of conviction
The same is true of your beliefs and perceptions about being able to do things or not. All this is to tell you quite simply that your habits have an impact on your life and the people around you. But a lot of these things come from your upbringing, and it’s time to do it the way you want. There are strategies that allow us to actively change the way we think and face challenges, to achieve things that seemed impossible and incredible to us, and at the same time to completely suppress fear. These strategies bring positivity and belief, positivity in all circumstances, and the belief that you are capable of doing anything. Positivity is one of the most powerful tools you have at your fingertips. It can help you take risks and challenge the system.
Too many people are just overwhelmed by circumstances and believe that the best way to get by is to sit there and do nothing. Do not move; do not make waves. The reality is you have to take risks in order to truly live.
Would you rather fail to do something amazing or succeed in doing nothing? To overcome this, the key is to use your past mistakes to create a new mindset of success. Every decision counts. Every decision you have made in your past life has brought you to where you are today. And not just big decisions, the little ones too. Change any of those pivotal moments, and your whole life would be different. You can change your mindset at any time.
Here is a simple way, that I’ve used for years, and I teach my clients to overcome this: When someone tells you that you can’t do something, or when you think you’re not up to the task, just add these three words “at the moment.”
"There are strategies that allow us to actively change the way we think and face challenges."
The hardest person you will ever lead in life is yourself. It’s always a lot easier to tell others what to do than to actually do it yourself. As a child, my grandmother would say, “Do as I say, not as I do”, in hindsight, that really was not the best way to get me to be obedient, my childish curiosity wanted the why behind the instruction. If I didn’t understand why chances are, I’d experiment to find out myself.
As a mother, I realized that saying isn’t effective and it certainly isn’t something I tell my children If I want the best out of them, I have to be the best example for them to follow This takes discipline
In my human resources career, I have had to master self-leadership so that I can model the type of leadership I want to be displayed in my team It takes discipline, a lot of will, determination, and commitment; it also requires a whole lot of self-work
Motivation and discipline are two sides of the same coin; they are both important to achieving long-term goals throughout life Motivation inspires you and gives you momentum to move forward; however, if you fail to act on that inspiration and build upon the momentum, motivation will quickly fade away and you won’t experience true success
Author Jim Rohn says, “Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments” Your level of success in life is heavily dependent on your level of discipline. If you master self-discipline, you can achieve just about anything you set out to do. In Chapter 6 of my Bestseller, Get Up & LEAD, I share 10 habits that lead to discipline. Here are 6 of those steps you can begin practicing today to help you become disciplined and achieve long term success:
by Sheba WilsonHere are 6 of those steps you can begin practicing today to help you become disciplined and achieve long term success:
A study of 270 participants conducted by Dr. Gail Matthews, a Professor at the Dominican University in California, revealed that you are 42% more likely to achieve goals if they are written down Don’t store goals in your head when memories fade Write them down and go back to them daily, reread them to keep focused on the plans you have, and pay particular attention to the timelines you’ve set for each step of the process
"
Motivation and discipline are two sides of the same coin; they are both important to achieving long-term goals throughout life."
When I decided that I needed to prioritize my health and lose weight, I took baby steps. The first thing I did was to eat from a much smaller plate in order to control my servings. I was initially eating the same food, but a lot less of them. Then as I saw the pounds dropping, I was motivated to do more, so I started introducing more fruits and vegetables into my meals and eliminated sugary drinks. Then greater weight loss inspired me to begin going to the gym five times per week instead of just walking outdoors three times per week. Each small change yielded results and encouraged me to do more. You didn’t form those old habits overnight, so unlearning old behaviors and learning new ones takes time.
Coaches help you by asking you tough questions to unleash the answers already inside of you Do your research, and look for client feedback to determine the success of the coach before deciding who to hire Mentorship is also a must Every successful person has at least one mentor, I have several mentors, some of who have been mentors to me for twenty years Mentors will not only provide guidance and advice but also hold you accountable to deliver on the things you have committed to along your journey Both mentors and coaches are great accountability partners
Rewarding yourself when you experience small and large-scale victories along your journey is a great technique It can be as simple as a spa treatment to celebrate a small win or a large purchase to commemorate a huge victory Rewarding yourself throughout your self-discipline practice will ensure that you remain energized to keep pushi picture of success
Be patient, it doesn’t happen overnight; it takes lots of practice. Some experts believe it takes at least twenty-one days to form a new habit, while others say it takes about forty days. If you truly want something you will practice, fail, and start over as many times as necessary. Disciplined people have the same challenges and temptations as undisciplined people; the difference is, when a disciplined person falls off the wagon, they don’t stay off They get up, dust off, and start again Forgive yourself and continue on your journey

If you don’t know what matrix you will use to measure your progress, how will you know if you’re succeeding? The key is to know what success looks like for each goal you’ve set. Determine what is the best way to measure your progress but also recognize that some goals are measured quantitatively, in numbers or amounts, while others may be qualitative, measured by observing your behavior or response as you progress.

As we all move through life, we have; hopes, dreams, intentions, goals, and aspirations So call it what you will We also all have roadblocks and diversions or see our dreams shattered and our hearts broken I had my dreams shattered, and my heart broken and felt hopeless and fearful of the future
After nearly 25 years of marriage and almost 50 years old, infidelity and divorce made me feel this way But, I did learn that healing is an active process You can't sit ideally and wait for the magic to happen It won't No matter what your age, you can face challenges and start over I prefer to call it a New Beginning I had felt like my heart had been torn to pieces and blown away in the tornado that ripped through my marriage
But no, thankfully, a small piece of my once whole heart was still there I began to understand that if I nurtured it, it would heal and grow full again And that it did For me, it meant giving back to my community but also making sure I gave extra attention to the woman who looked back at me in the mirror each morning,
being grateful, and taking each day one step at a time.
As the years passed, I focused on myself I was stepping out of my box Not holding back or being afraid to try new things, my world opened up My kids, family, and friends were my focus I continued to be involved in a local charity volunteering and being on committees
My growth, confidence, and empowerment became a natural part of my being I knew I was caring for myself, nurturing friendships, and caring for my family Although I often felt that there was something more for me, I hadn't figured it out yet
As the world rang in 2020, that year of solitude, chaos, loss, and a halt to anything "normal " That was the beginning of extreme growth, gaining knowledge, and finding the path to my purpose and passion I stepped out of my comfort zone, becoming an Author, Certified Life, and Health Coach, speaking on podcasts, submitting magazine articles, starting a Coaching business, and becoming a coach and mentor to divorcing women
What was this transformation? All of this has happened over the last few years I have often reflected on this transition I have made As a result, I am more confident, courageous, and happy than ever
I listened to a fantastic woman in 2020, Barbara Mark Hubbard, on the platform MindValley She was a trailblazer for women, and her words of wisdom were inspiring - one thing she said that stuck with me; Barabar spoke about how women live, giving to others, managing life, and putting others first But a woman often comes into her own, feels most comfortable in her skin, and makes her mark in the world later in life
Her words sparked energy in me, giving me a feeling of empowerment in my own life. Over the last few years, I have felt alive, the most comfortable with who I am than I ever have. Knowing that women can empower each other and help each other do great things for each other and the world.
Recently I was listening to a woman, Dr. Andrea Slominski, aka Dr. A, and her words spoke to my soul. It was what I needed to hear. To understand how I felt but couldn't put it into words. I get goosebumps just thinking about what is ahead of me and what the future holds for women. One of the things Dr. A talked about was the 7 Realms of Change for women: All women over 40 will cross:
*Body *Self-Image *Roles *Feeling *Needs
*Priorities *Goals
I am so excited to learn more. Women have the power to do great things and make a positive impact on others and the world. This quote sums it up so beautifully. "Life really does begin at 40. Up until then, you are just doing research."
– Carl JungAs women, we feel that it is too late to embrace a New Beginning as we get older. However, I speak with confidence that this is just the beginning. It is always possible to do something new and give amazing things to the world. It may involve taking a leap of faith and learning not to worry.
I am not eloquent, but I have something to say, and I know my words and experience can help other women get through troubling times and find the following purpose that will give them confidence, courage, and self-worth.
As we get older, we have more to offer than we did 20, 30, and 40 years ago. No need to fear the future; let it excite you.
Nanette found her strength after heartbreak, discovered her drive after healing, and now knows her purpose because of her growth. Now, she follows her passion as a Divorce & Health Coach for women rediscovering their independence after decades of marriage

The Dangers of the Girl Boss Stereotype
The Dangers of the Girl Boss Stereotype
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GOOGLE THE WORD BOSS BABE AND YOU’LL BE BOMBARDED BY MESSAGES OF TOXIC MASCULINITY DISGUISED AS FEMALE EMPOWERMENT. IMAGES AND QUOTES THAT ENCOURAGE WOMEN TO STRIVE FOR PERFECTION AT ALL COSTS AND SET GOALS AS HIGH AS THEIR FAVORITE PAIR OF STILETTOS.
So, why is boss babe culture so problematic?
Let's look at the facts. According to studies 80-85% of the world's women population suffers from low self-esteem. When individuals suffer from low self-esteem one of the ways they tend to cope is through overachievement. Overachievement is a dysfunctional attempt to bolster low self-esteem through impressive deeds and external validation.
Put simply, overachievement is a trauma response. When the motivation to succeed is fueled by a deeply rooted sense of not being enough or not creating a life that's perceived as successful, the only thing that can make an overachiever feel worthy or acceptable is more hard work, loftier goals, and more accomplishments
byYamarieNegronThe irony of the girl boss stereotype is that while it means well, it encourages women who already don't feel like they are enough to pacify this void by grinding and building empires. This is not true empowerment.
True empowerment implies that you are motivated by your inner authority, which means you are the boss when you are living life on your terms. Not a life that's motivated by the fear of not being enough.
For women who already have deep-seated feelings of insecurity and inadequacy, this popular ideology encourages them to continue to suppress their feelings of unfulfillment in work, running a small business, or making the list of Top 30 Influential women
All of these, by the way, are worthy accomplishments when the sub-goals are selfmastery, self-improvement, and learning, not seeking self-worth through achievement and external validation
Boss babe culture like many toxic “woke” concepts is dangerous, not because of what it encourages women to achieve, but because it is encouraging women to find fulfillment and strength through work and external validation rather than addressing the root cause their generational and cultural trauma
Despite being glamorized by social media, the hyper-independence, overachievement, and selfsacrifice that's encouraged in girl boss culture are all trauma responses
And as long as women are encouraged to disguise self-neglect, distorted expectations, and self-sacrifice as something worth looking up to, they will never be able to experience true empowerment
Fulfillment will always feel like it's just one degree, one promotion, one life partner away. It’s time to give new meaning to the term boss babe. One that encourages women to be true to themselves. To prioritize their mental, emotional, and physical health in the pursuit of, well, whatever the hell it is that she wants.
Let’s try this one on for size. Boss Babe /bôs bāb/ (noun): A woman who has achieved a state of inner authority.
She’s not driven or defined by the size of her company or the amount of cash flowing through her bank account and yet, she's the CEO of her life She isn’t brainwashed by someone else’s definition of a successful woman which means that when it comes to her career, her body, and her life, she calls the shots

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW YOU CAN GET A CONSISTENT FLOW OF CLIENTS, AUTOMATED SALES IN YOUR INBOX WHEN YOU WAKE UP, AND A WAITING LIST OF REFERRALS, WHO CAN’T WAIT TO WORK WITH YOU? SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
By Alex GrzybekLet me tell you about the strategy that will turn your knowledge and expertise into a highly successful event that will attract and convert attendees into clients: WEBINARS
You may think – do I really need webinars in my business? Some statistics: 95% of businesses believe webinars are an important part of their marketing strategy 73% of B2B companies say webinars are the best way to generate high-quality leads
Hosting your own event, and being a speaker on your own stage builds credibility and authority People see you as the authority in your field and they want to know more about you
They are absolutely brilliant to generate leads and reach new people, who need your products or services but had no idea about your existence before They become part of your tribe, where you can serve them
It’s an opportunity to communicate directly with people and show them how you can help them solve their problems or reach their goals. There is no limit to how many people you can reach and where they are coming from
Building that know, like, and trust factor, and when, what you say resonates with people, they want to work with you So you can fill your programs and calendar with amazing clients with ease (and yes, earn that income you desire and deserve too)
Create the business you love Which allows you to work from anywhere in the world To host a webinar all you need is your laptop and an internet connection You can work from downtown LA, from the beach in Indonesia, or from the museum of Paris when you travel around Europe >>
Not only potential clients but also other business owners or influential people see you as the authority in your field and they invite you to be a guest, speaker, expert, writer, or podcaster in their space and give you bigger exposure. The sky is the limit.
I believe you already feel the power of hosting your own virtual events. You can already see the opportunities unfolding before your eyes.
But… maybe you also hear that little voice inside your head saying: “I’m afraid of public speaking”, “I’m not tech savvy”, “I don’t have a large audience”, “I’ve never done a webinar before”, “ What if I fail”, “People will judge me”. The list goes on and on.
I hear you Been there Not knowing where to start
Not feeling confident as a speaker Let me tell you my 2 secrets on how to deal with the biggest fears, which prevent female entrepreneurs from running webinars:
You may have this idea that in order to host your very own event you need to be Oprah or Tony Robbins or at least a professor at Harvard because they are so smart and they know a lot, right?
Wrong They all started exactly where you are now With nobody knowing who they were And most likely being as afraid as you’re now But they started And built it from there
Here’s my first secret: All you need is to be one or two steps ahead of your clients to be able to teach and inspire them You know something they don’t and they need this from you
Remember - “You don’t need to be great to start but you need to start to be great”
“I can’t do this. I’m not ready enough”
You may believe that you need to know EVERYTHING in order to start And that everything feels so overwhelming that you don’t even know where to begin Here’s my second secret - these 5 words actually changed my life forever: “Done is better than perfect” You don’t need to know all 17 steps ahead to start All you need is to take the very first step And once you do – the second one becomes clearer, and then the third one, and so forth
Hear me out AMAZING WOMAN: You are more powerful than you think You were born for a reason and you have an important message to share with the world You want to Make a Difference, Transform Lives and Shine as a Business Rockstar in the process You playing small doesn’t serve anyone Stop playing small and start getting visible as a rockstar speaker Use your voice to inspire and empower women globally Because you have one
Alex Grzybek helps ambitious female entrepreneurs, who struggle with the confidence to THRIVE in the online business & get a consistent flow of clients She shows how to fill your programs and calendar with ease through the power of speaking and highly converting online events

I had to let go of the idea that it needed to look perfect before I could step into action.
One of my favorite things to do growing up as a kid in the Midwest was to create stories I would spend hours crafting stories with my Barbies or paper dolls, crafting back stories of their lives and adventures that helped build their character As I got older I would start to write short stories spending one summer writing what we believed was going to be next great screenplay for a family adventure summer blockbuster movie with my cousins on my Tandy 3000 computer (yes I’m aging myself) We quickly realized Steven Spielberg we were not, but still had fun planning out the characters and acting out the lines.
For the most part, my stories were just that-my stories that I rarely shared. Just a personal escape to make sense of the world around me. That was until I entered high school and Mr. Dziedzic’s English class. One of the assignments was to write a short essay anonymously and each essay would be read out loud as the class voted on the best story. I remember carefully selecting the name I would use Bob, standing for Books Over Boys as at that time in my life I much rather preferred reading a copy of V.C. Andrew's book over the typical high school activities, so the name was my creative way of showing how proud I was of who I was.
As each story was eliminated, I remember the sense of nervousness building inside me We reached the final round and he called out the names of the top essays I remember slowly rising as he said the name Bob hoping for cheers from my classmates but instead, I was met with laughter from the shock of it being me, the girl who rarely spoke in class I vowed never to write another story again after that moment and I vowed to never share my voice again Even writing that vow today brings a pit to stomach and returns the lump to my throat that I felt in that moment trying to hold back my emotions
The reality is I didn’t stop writing, I filled notebooks with stories and thoughts that would never be shared In college when feeling lost and overwhelmed I would sneak off the to library and spend hours just writing until my head would be cleared of whatever thought was plaguing me When I moved across the country to start “Adulthood” I packed up those notebooks and stored them in boxes that would never be opened or shared with another person
My voice was locked away in those notebooks and the many more scattered around my home, trapped in the perpetual loop of “is this good enough” Fast forward to doom scrolling on Facebook one sleeplessness night and coming across a post about an upcoming collaborative project for women who had overcome adversity
I read somewhere that the actual act of writing, sends a signal to our brain that those words matter and that this message is important Writing provides clarity and connection to the work we are doing and helps solidify the message we want to convey As women who are leaders in business our voices matter but the words we write do as well
Write your story, share your vision, and allow your words to guide someone on the journey they are just starting to embark on
1 - Make writing a daily habit
At this point in my career, I had spe hours working with clients on findin and focused on empowerment and e young girls knew they had a seat at that they were enough just as they w back and forth on if I should I do it, pick up a pen and not just write but story with the world.
Something magical happened wh pick up my favorite pen and start to notebook just w turned into wor paragraphs driv creation of a st did it appear, it here and I am e
Devoting at least 20mins a day to just writing your thoughts and letting the creative process lead you provides space for you to reconnect to your message.
2 - Find your creative sanctuary
Having somewhere you can allow yourself to just bring clarity to your process. The familiarity of this space tells your brain it’s go time.
3 - Let Go and Let Flow
The words may not always make sense but it’s what needs to be released trust the process.

So many people mistake productivity for hard work, stress, and overwhelm but it doesn’t have to be that way The root word of productivity is produce and that is not what most people are actually doing when they claim to be productive
Have you ever met one of those superhuman career moms that are totally put together? She always has tons of energy, she always smiles, and she’s being friendly and present, and then wondered, how the heck does she pull it off? When at the same time you feel overloaded, wiped out, and disconnected from your spouse, your kids, your tasks at work, and most of all yourself
If you recognize that feeling, don’t worry! It might sound counterintuitive but the answer is productivity - consciously directed productivity
To reach the point of inner peace there are a few habits you need to implement This does not mean extra work for you but rather a replacement of your old habits
To reach the point of inner peace there are a few habits you need to implement
The first step is to be crystal clear on your goals and your dreams. In order to be productive, you first need to know exactly what you are working towards. This might seem obvious but I have seen so many people undervalue the importance of clarity.
Surprisingly many people don’t know what they want, but you can bet they know what they don’t want and more often than not that is how people respond when I ask them what they want in life.
The thing is though you get what you focus on so you better keep your focus on what you want, know, and can.
Imagine you called the local pizza place and said “I’d like to order a pizza, I don’t want pineapple”. You would never reach the finish line and on top, the pizza guy would have to make guesses between all the things you didn’t mention and chances are that you would end up with a pizza you didn’t like. The same thing goes for life. Put in an order for what you want and be crystal clear about it.
Figure out what is the most important goal for you and then ask yourself why it is so important. Your “why” needs to be really strong because that’s what’s going to get you to push through when things get tough Your “why” is your anchor Once you know the what and the why it is time to look at the how
There are two kinds of distractions. The emotional and the physical. The physical distractions are things like social media, news, and your inbox. Emotional distractions are your limiting beliefs that stop your progress in a given area. These are a little harder to recognize when they occur. It could be that you face a challenge in your work and all of a sudden you recall somebody saying that nobody can make a living off xxx and you should get a real job. It’s most likely the subconscious part of your brain but it will show up as “Oh, I don’t know if I can do this”, “maybe I should just go back to my old job” or “It’s just too much”.
I don’t know the words that run through your head at times like this, but you do And it can stop you in your tracks for hours, days, or sometimes even weeks It’s important to be aware of this because it’s a sneaky enemy that will rob your self-confidence So when you recognize this villain say to yourself “I believe in my own ability to figure things out” Looking back, you have all the proof you need to make this argument You have been through a lot already and you are still here, you have handled worse and you got through You do have the power to do this as well Then ask yourself “what is the next right step of action I can take right now?”
To limit the physical distractions simply create focus blocks of 50 minutes A focus block means that you dedicate that time to a particular task and nothing else You do not scroll Facebook, reply to emails, or do laundry You focus on that one thing Have 1 or 2 blocks of time per day to respond to other people Unless you work in customer support you don’t need to reply to everybody within 30 seconds I have tested this by letting people wait a whole 4 hours before responding and nobody died Then create a focus block for your work >>
"Figure out what is the most important goal for you and then ask yourself why it is so important."
Warren Buffet said: “The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything”
The reason it is paramount that you learn this is that we as humans way too often live our lives based on other people’s agendas or expectations. We handle inbound first. Someone asks us to help and we bend over backward to juggle, reschedule, and replan our entire day because we want to be nice people We want to be seen as helpful, as good friends, and as someone, others can count on We feel like we have to The problem with this approach is that we end up feeling overloaded and unfulfilled and if you are really hardcore you even use it to bang yourself in the head about how you didn’t accomplish what you planned today You end the day feeling like you have been running around like a headless chicken and accomplished nothing more than putting out fires Knowing exactly what you want and having your plan to get there saying no to things that are not relevant will become a lot easier for you I’m not saying to be a jerk, just to be mindful about it You have sole responsibility for your own happiness and a great responsibility as a role model for all the people looking up to you and looking to you for guidance
Now, hopefully, you get the idea about why consciously directed productivity can create inner peace and why it is important for your satisfaction and fulfillment to be productive with what matters to you and to your designed future Now go and be amazing You got this!
