Workshops

Brand Ambassador Program A volunteer experience for students who are passionate about the work of the Womxn’s Center for Success, and who want to build community connections through outreach across campus. Ambassadors have the opportunity to gain skills that provide student success, bring awareness to womxn’s issues, and promote the WCS as brand ambassadors.

Student Assistants Student Assistants assist the Womxn’s Center for Success professional staff to promote the Womxn’s Center for Success services, plan events, and facilitate various offerings. They learn skills in program development, marketing, and professional development.

Sad Girls Club at UC Irvine Sad Girls Club at UCI was started during the pandemic to normalize all emotions we feel as humans and to build community. The Sad Girls Club at UCI functions in a hybrid capacity with a digital community on Instagram Broadcast Channel as well as in-person events throughout the year!

The center offers a variety of workshops/presentations for faculty, staff, and student groups across campus. Workshops range from general information about the Womxn’s Center for Success to educational topics beneficial to all community memebers.

Womxn’s Center for Success 101

EmpowerUS Summit An annual leadership conference hosted by Womxn’s Center for Success. The event is for undergraduate and graduate students, and all UCI-affiliated faculty and staff. The Summit serves as a space for attendees to harness their power and potential and learn valuable lessons and skills from a diverse list of guest speakers.

This short presentation is available to introduce students, faculty, and staff to the offerings of the Womxn’s Center. WCS Staff and Brand Ambassadors will go over upcoming events, support services, and resources that our office provides. It also includes a short overview of our Womxn’s Guide to UCI.

Reproductive Justice at UC Irvine This short presentation is available to introduce students, faculty, and staff to deepen the understanding of reproductive justice complexities and gaining knowledge on how social factors impact reproductive health.

Womxn’s Month This is a campus-wide collaboration that highlights, supports, and empowers womxn students, staff, and faculty within the UCI community. Celebrated every March, Womxn’s Month showcases programming, perforces, seminars, and athletic events either hosted by or featuring the womxn of UCI.
