About the Womxn's Hub THE WOMXN’S HUB AT UC IRVINE ADVANCES GENDER EQUITY BY RAISING COMMUNITY CONSCIOUSNESS, FOSTERING PERSONAL GROWTH, IMPLEMENTING SOCIAL JUSTICE INITIATIVES, AND INCREASING ACCESS TO RESOURCES THAT SUPPORT STUDENT SUCCESS. THE CENTER FOCUSES ON WOMXNSPECIFIC NEEDS AND IDEAS THROUGH WORKSHOPS, TRAININGS, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND COMMUNITY BUILDING. THE SPACE IS OPEN AND AFFIRMING TO ALL WHO BELIEVE IN THE STRENGTH OF WOMXN, WOMXNIDENTIFIED PERSONS, AND ALL ALLIES

Dynamic Womxn of UCI Awards THE DYNAMIC WOMXN OF UCI AWARDS EVENT CELEBRATES AND HONORS THE INCREDIBLE WOMXN WHO ARE LEADERS AND ROLE MODELS ACTIVELY MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY. THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND CELEBRATION FOCUSES ON THE WOMXN WHO INSPIRE US TO TAKE ACTION AND TO FIGHT FOR CAUSES WE BELIEVE IN. NOW IN ITS 8TH YEAR, THIS PROGRAM CONTINUES TO GROW IN SIZE, SCALE, AND IMPACT. THERE WAS OVER 75 NOMINATIONS THIS YEAR IN FIVE AWARD CATEGORIES.

“ Sophia has been a teaching assistant for many courses and has never failed to create a safe and collaborative space while making sure to institute approachable mechanisms for feedback.”
