The prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awards will be happening in Houston Texas on the 4th of December 2022. The annual event, sponsored by Americorps, honors individuals who have done more than 4000 hours of volunteer service to the community. This year’s event will be hosted by Dr. Sonia R White. The health professional is

famously known for bringing the historic event to Houston Dr. White received the same award in 2017 when it was presented to her by former president Barack Obama. She is a well-known philanthropist and has previously received recognition for community service and for hosting the first Presidents Volunteers Awards (PVSA)where outstanding youths of Houston were honored for their role in the community. Sonia’s other roles in the community include being a US Airforce Veteran, Best Selling Author, and Founder of the S.M.I.L.E Foundation Inc. Through the December event, Dr. White hopes to continue leading others to the agenda of significant contributions to society.
