We offer a range of courses from beginner to advancedlevel to help non-English speakers develop their spoken and written language skills and use it in a variety of different contexts.

We offer a range of courses that you can complete as part of a traineeship or apprenticeship. You will need to be employed in order to complete your training this way as your employer is the key contact with Wodonga TAFE. With a pre-app this is a way for you to study a course to better your chances of obtaining an apprenticeship. It shows you are motivated and you have already completed some really important training so you have skills before you start your apprenticeship.

It’s what we call blended! That’s a mixture of your course materials being online and then you coming oncampus to attend essential workshops. Have a look through the guide and look next to the course name for those that are delivered via BLENDED LEARNING. This might help you to organise your study around your other commitments, and lets you plan ahead when you know a workshop is scheduled - so you can sort out work, who can look after the kids, or look for a substitute for your sporting team.

CERTIFICATE IV IN BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION (BUILDING) CPC40110 ON-CAMPUS, PART-TIME: 12 MONTHS This course provides the learning and skills for students to apply to become a registered (not licensed) builder with Master Builders Association. Upon receiving registration, you’ll be qualified to undertake roles such as foreman, site supervisor or site manager.

This is a great stepping stone to gaining your full builder’s licence!

CERTIFICATE III IN CABINET MAKING MSF31113 APPRENTICESHIP OR ON-CAMPUS, PART-TIME: 3 YEARS Available to apprentices and non-apprentices, you’ll learn the skills of a qualified tradesperson in cabinetmaking. Full qualification as a tradesperson is only possible if undertaking this course as an apprentice.
