SISTERS Who Care

Sisters Who Care (SWC) is a ministry of Woman's Missionary Union that aims to reach women in African American churches for cooperative missions.

The SWC group at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Harker Heights is one example of a group on mission. Through their involvement in community ministry, they provide a number of ministry opportunities for the women in their SWC group.

♦ Last year, they donated shoes to "Walk a Mile in My Shoes", a non-profit organization that provides shoes to students in local schools.

♦ They also partner with a free clinic medical center, and their local Hope Pregnancy Center.

African American churches across Texas are engaged in missions discipleship and meeting the needs of the communities they serve.
