Missions
&
Celebration
Welcome to Pursue 2024, the WMU of Texas Annual Meeting & Missions Celebration! We are grateful for your participation and look forward to highlighting and celebrating the move of God through your missions efforts across Texas and beyond.
As we pursue Jesus Christ, above all else, we have the opportunity, during Pursue, to engage in missions, establish partnerships for missions with our ministry exhibitors, and to be empowered for missions through workshops offered, resources introduced, and relationships formed.
During WMU’s Missions Connect sessions in the exhibit hall, you will gain insight into becoming a disciple-maker in a specific age-level area of ministry.
We have also assembled a dynamic panel of young adult leaders to share best practices in reaching the next generation, while we emphasize our heritage and legacy through a program focused on our partnerships in support of our missionaries.
Our gathering will culminate with our cultural luncheons as we celebrate and are equipped for the many missions outreach
This year, we are blessed to host our annual gathering at the Waco Convention Center, which offers a central location and opportunities to expand our simultaneous activities during Pursue.
Known as the birthplace of Dr. Pepper and home of the Magnolia Market, Waco is also home to Baylor University and Truett Seminary, both Texas Baptists affiliated institutions.
We truly hope you enjoy your visit to Waco and that Pursue 2024 equips
