Q Who can join Erickson

Advantage®?

Erickson Advantage® is only available to Erickson Retirement Community residents. As with other Supplemental and Advantage Plans, you must be entitled to Part A and enrolled in Part B. You must continue to pay the Medicare Part B premium.

Enrolling with us does not affect your Medicaid eligibility. Persons with endstage renal disease at the time of application are not eligible, except under certain circumstances.

Q If I chose not to join the

health plan, can I still go to the community Medical Center?

Erickson Advantage® has a network of physicians/providers in addition to the primary care physicians at Erickson Medical Centers.

You may go to out of network physicians/providers but you will pay more. To receive preferred benefits, members must use our network of physicians/providers.

If you have any problem you can always go to your Member Services Representative and they will find the answer. I can’t say enough good things about my Member Services Representative. She is sweet and calm, always ready to help.

The Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit is only available to enrollees of this Erickson Advantage® MA-PD plan. If you are already enrolled in a MA-PD plan, you must receive the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit through that plan.

To receive the highest level of benefit you must use contracted network pharmacies to access your prescription drug benefit except in the case of emergency. You may obtain your prescriptions from pharmacies outside the contracted network at a reduced benefit. The pharmacy network includes more than 50,000 pharmacies nationwide including retail, mail order, long-term care, home infusion and I/T/U (Indian Health Service, Tribes or Urban Indian) pharmacy services. If you qualify for extra help with your Medicare Prescription Drug Plan costs, your premium and

drug costs will be lower. When you join Erickson Advantage®, Medicare will tell us how much extra help you are getting. Then we will let you know the amount you will pay. You may be able to get extra help to pay for your prescription drug premiums and costs. To see if you qualify for getting extra help, call: 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).
