JULY 19-30, 2021 INTESIVE WASHINGTON MONTESORI INSTITUTE
MONTESSORI CORE PRINCIPLES COURSE SCHEDULE & DESCRIPTION
Welcome
WMI's first Montessori Core Principles Course will introduce the concepts that are the foundation of Montessori theory and practice. During our time together, participants will explore all of these ideas making their work take on new life, guided by a comprehensive and deep understanding of Montessori principles and practices. We have an internationally-recognized panel of AMI trainers, experts in their field of study, leading this course. This catalog contains: course and schedule details, faculty information, and an overview of the on-site weekend. Those who wish to earn an AMI certificate must attend the onsite weekend in person and have 90% attendance in the overall course. For those unable to attend the in person weekend, we will live-stream most of the on-site weekend lectures. A WMI Certificate of Attendance will be issued in lieu of the AMI Certificate for those participants unable to be on-site, and/or unable to meet the AMI attendance requirement. We are thrilled to offer as a bonus, a free online administrator workshop at the end of our two week intensive. The workshop will explore general school administration principles and practices, and it will examine the critical contribution that knowledge of Montessori Core Principles can make to the day-to-day work of Montessori school administrators. See the schedule on page 4 for more information. To register for this free workshop click HERE. Should you have any questions before, during, or after the course, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@wmi-montessori.org. Samantha Vejay Executive Director
