Wednesday, May 1 Creative Reuse Pop-Up Shop

6 - 8 pm • Nantucket Atheneum, 1 India Street Join local creatives Allison and Emma along with Sustainable Nantucket and 100 Mile Makers in a craft supply pop-up shop focused on upcycled materials. Found and donated materials will be available for free in a take-what-you-need shopping experience. Friday, May 3 Glenn Weimer: Tales of Indonesia

Glen Weimer recounts his recent travels through Indonesia in photos and video, with insights on Balinese Gamelan, trance ceremonies, Buddhist & Hindu temples, Komodo Dragons, ancient ruins, breathtaking natural beauty, Javanese shadow puppets, and a cremation ceremony. Resident artists of Our Island Home show their recent works created in the class of artist and teacher Kathleen Duncombe. Throughout ArtWeek in the lobby of Greenhound, bus station for The Wave. Free admission.
