Presents

Longevity, Esthetics and Bite Stabilization Presented by Jeff Morley, D.D.S. | Friday, March 12, 2010 Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park | 8:00am to 4:00pm | 7 CEU’s Today’s conditions require special knowledge, techniques, and procedures to maintain the dental health of an aging population. What are the options for treating complex restorative and cosmetic problems when the patient is on a limited budget? How can the dentist treat the worn dentition in phases to accommodate patients’ financial concerns? Dr. Morley will share his personal techniques that evolved over 30 years in his San Francisco practice. Porcelain restorative systems will be explained, including techniques for getting better lab results. Participants will see how advanced bonding procedures are applied in complex restorative cases as an adjunct to traditional crowns and veneers. Dr. Morley will also outline occlusal principals in an easy-tounderstand way that can be applied immediately in general practice. Specific techniques for accurate impressions in multi-unit cases and creating highly esthetic provisionals will be outlined in detail. Updates on the latest on porcelain and composite systems as well as adhesives and cements will be included. Dr. Morley will give the inside story on how to make anterior teeth look real and how to manage the muscles of facial expression to help patients look younger! Strategies for maintaining healthy tissue around our restorations as well as principals of vertical dimension of occlusion will be covered in depth. Dr. Morley will define diagnostic systems that increase case acceptance for comprehensive care. Finally, attendees will be educated on the “Morley Bite Stabilization” (MBS) technique for treating worn dentitions and dentitions lacking adequate vertical dimension of occlusion. Dr. Morley is a true pioneer in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is the co-founder of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and one of the best known educators in the field of Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. He is currently founder and CEO of the MST-Morley Seminars Training, and a past associate editor of JADA. Dr. Morley has taught and directed over 1000 hours of post-graduate continuing education programs. He has also studied for three years at the prestigious San Francisco Art Institute. Dr. Morley is one of only 51 dentists in the world who have earned Fellowship standing with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
