MEGA SUNDAY CELEBRATION PROGRAM

International Prelate, Apostle Dr. Lloyd Benson, Sr. He is God’s Anointed Man of Faith and Power, one who is sent by God to impact the world with a Prophetic-Apostolic message of divine order, healing, and deliverance for the 21 st Century church.

Thousands and tens of thousands have been saved, healed and delivered from sickness and demonic spirits. God has worked many miracles through this humble servant throughout the United States and many foreign countries. He is an Apostle to the nations and a Pastor after God’s own heart.

Chief Apostle Benson is mostly known for his burden to win souls and love for God’s people.

In 1991, Apostle Benson heeded the voice of God. By faith, he founded and established World Outreach Ministries, a full time Evangelistic Ministry, which brings him before congregations of all races, denominations, and classes of people. While serving as Overseer of World Outreach Ministries, he recognized the need for a global fellowship of churches that promotes unity and growth within the Body of Christ. Dr. Benson therefore established World Link of Churches and Ministries (WLCM). Its vision is to unite churches and ministries that will combine forces for one common goal, to bring people to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. Through the anointed apostolic leadership of Chief Apostle Benson, spiritual leaders around the world are equipped and empowered for growth and expansion. WLCM now has churches/ministries under its covering, as far as India, Germany, Haiti, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia and several nations in Africa.

Dr. Benson currently serves as the Senior Pastor of one ministry in two locations; Cathedral World Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Life Cathedral Worship Center located in Gonzales, Louisiana. The place where the Power of God is manifested!

Throughout his ministerial journey, he also established Lunch-With-God Seminars, a noontime experience of spiritual impartation and revelatory knowledge. Operation Vision Prayer Flight was established in 1994, in which he charters planes to fly over cities with city officials, politicians, and school board officials, praying for God’s blessings for families, government, and schools. The Apostle continues to reach out to the poor internationally through the establishment of Mission Crises Relief, and nationally by providing food and shelter for hundreds of hungry and homeless people through a WLCM local outreach in San Diego, California. Apostle Benson also established the national Save Our Cities Now Prayer Initiative campaign where clergymen, concerned citizens, civic leaders, government officials and business leaders gather to march and pray for divine protection, guidance and prosperity of our nation.

He received his Doctor of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Trinity Christian University.

This man of God has received numerous awards and international recognition for the great work he has accomplished over the years through his No Soul Left Behind campaign; transforming lives, building stronger communities and promoting the Kingdom of God in excellence .

THE FATHER Dr. Benson is the proud father of Pastor Lloyd II and Lynn Benson and grand father of Lloyd III and Layla, whom he love dearly.

Pst. Lloyd Benson, II Dear Dad, I am who I am, because of who you are. From the way that I walk to the way I talk I am constantly reminded by myself and others the same, I am your son. For this, I am forever grateful that God chose me to be included in his plan for your life. I do not take it for granted nor do I ever devalue the privilege to call you my Dad, although in most cases I refer to you as Apostle. The reason being, I know that what God has called you to be in eternity overshadows any other name. However, even with such a great responsibility to the nations, you still manage to be “Dad” with ease. You have never missed a birthday, nor have you ever been absent during any milestone in my life. You have always been there to support me as a son with no judgment. You knew exactly when to be my Apostle and when to be my Dad. As expected, it is undoubtedly a challenge to walk in your Mauri Gator shoes, but you never pressured me to be anything but who God created me to be. You laid a solid foundation as my very first mentor and gave me the resources needed to start in the right trajectory.

I commend you on your leadership as Apostle. I have never seen a man of God with so much passion for the things of God. Not only are you a man of God, but you are a servant first! When the Cathedral World Worship Center was flooded in August 2016, you were the first there to rebuild it.
