The College of Education and Behavioral Sciences has had nearly 300 students complete a portion of their student teaching experience in one of 10 countries (Belize, China, Ecuador, England, Germany, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, and Sweden) since 2009.

The WKU ROTC program has achieved a 100% job placement rate for those who contract and commission active duty (full-time) or National Guard (part-time).

With hands-on training and expert faculty, the College of Health and Human Services at WKU will prepare you for life after graduation. Majors in CHHS grew by 130% between Fall 2003 and Fall 2013, from 2,264 to 5,237 students. The reason for the growth in CHHS is the engagement of the exceptional faculty and staff who address the changing shifts in higher education.

Students in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders start providing speech therapy as undergraduates through the WKU Clinical Education Complex, a Head Start center located on campus, and the Buddy House, which serves adults with Down Syndrome.
