The library project would add
Memorial Day 2016 will be celebrated Monday (May 30) and marks the traditional start of summer. But the federal holiday also is an occasion when the nation honors those who died serving in the country's military in general, and an opportunity to remember all those who’ve passed. Memorial services will be held in many local towns, including Williamsfield, where a program will be at 11 a.m. at the Norman Legion Building.
