The world is trembling all around us in different ways. As consumers and as human beings, therefore, we seek a safe haven from the storm – a place of beauty and a place to relax. That haven is our home. That’s why interior design has become so crucial in recent years, and of course we’re delighted about that.
What will happen once the dust has settled? Our guess is that sustainability will continue to be in focus both one year and five years from now. Thankfully. While no one can do everything, every brand can and should do something. Zone Denmark has long since stopped using plastic bags in its packaging. We use 100% FSC-certified cardboard, all our printing is soy-based, and we have come a long way in terms of sorting and recycling the individual parts in our designs. But! We are well aware that these are little steps in the grand scheme of climate action. That’s why we are continually looking for green solutions that can make a difference.
At the same time, we celebrate the long service life of Zone products. Right from the outset, our brand has been about products that you will enjoy looking at, using and sharing your life with year after year. Our trademark will continue to be durable designs, where the durability is not only down to the choice of materials, but also to the aesthetic timelessness of the products.

SINGLES is a flirtatious design-led collection, created by Zone Denmark in cooperation with innovative Danish designers. It adds a new twist to familiar products, designed not to impress, but to invite. SINGLES will be hitting the stores in splashes of colour, a drop at a time – designed to charm everyone who loves strong, alluring design.

These minimalist designs are made of powder-coated steel in a colour palette to complement contemporary interiors. Mensura is Latin for ‘measure’, and the essence of the Mensura series is precisely quick and accurate measurement.
The new Mensura kitchen scale stands out from the crowd in that it can weigh quantities of up to 10 kg, and when not in use the bowl can be turned over, to act as a protective cap. The scale has four non-slip silicone feet, and the big LED display is easy to read from all angles and in all lighting conditions. The weighing bowl holds 300 ml.

WE LOVE COLOURFUL IDEAS
The Rosti Margrethe bowl is a prominent classic that has been renowned for its exuberant colours and unique functionality since the 1950s. And it also gives the bowl an extra touch of exclusivity to be named after Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. Over the years, the Margrethe bowl has been available in many beautiful colours, and this will continue in the future, as it is an important part of Rosti’s DNA.
Rosti is best known for the award-winning Margrethe bowl, and more than 25 million Margrethe bowls have been sold worldwide. Although this is quite impressive, Rosti is actually about much more than Margrethe bowls. The world’s most imitated mixing bowl also has a large family of functional utensils that cover most cooking, baking and preparation needs.
The Mensura measuring series is designed with everyday needs in mind and comprises a 1 litre measuring jug, a decilitre measuring cup and a measuring spoon – all made of SAN, which is transparent, highly durable and dishwasher-safe.
All three products are easy and intuitive to use. They are designed with a marking in the middle, dividing it into a teaspoon/tablespoon on the measuring spoon, 0.5/1 decilitre on the measuring cup and 0.5/1 litre on the measuring jug. The measuring spoon has a long handle, making it easy to scoop flour and sugar directly from the bag. The decilitre cup has a smaller handle, and the measuring jug also has a handle as well as a spout, which is convenient for pouring. A totally unique feature is that the Mensura measuring jug can withstand boiling water.
Choptima is a new series of functional, high-quality chopping boards in Danish design. The Choptima series is available in three carefully selected sizes, and with all three you’ll have everything you need for all daily food prep tasks, whether you’re slicing herbs, chopping vegetables or cutting bread.
The chopping boards can also be used for serving, which is why the stylish shades of curry, humus and Nordic Green were selected with special care. The series comes with a clever holder made with focus on storage and hygiene and designed so that you can put a damp chopping board directly into the holder.

Monica Förster (born 1966) is one of Sweden’s most internationally acclaimed and award-winning designers. Her upbringing in the small village of Dorotea in northern Sweden was marked by a strong interest in food and the set table, as her father was one of Sweden’s leading chefs. Monica Förster’s design is characterised by a considered simplicity that is free of unnecessary details, and she is driven by a great curiosity about new materials and manufacturing methods.
