THE WITS TRIPLE OFFER - REWARDING EXCELLENCE Wits University makes conditional TRIPLE offers for tuition, residence and financial aid (where applicable) to the TOP applicants in the country, based on admission points scores as set by the respective faculties. In January 2024, upon release of the final matriculation results, the TRIPLE offers are confirmed in the form of a firm offer.

Firm Offer If you are made a firm offer, you will receive an SMS offer and a firm offer letter via email from the University • Please follow the instructions in the letter Access self-service https://self-service.wits.ac.za/ • Accept an offer and register online before the deadline stipulated in the firm offer letter • Your firm offer will be forfeited should you not accept and register within the specified timeline
You will be made an offer for accommodation in one of the following residences: - The East Campus Cluster - The West Campus Cluster - The Braamfontein Cluster (these 3 clusters are located in Braamfontein) - The Highfield Cluster (located on the Education Campus in Parktown) - The Parktown Cluster (located near the Medical School, Business School and Education Campuses) - Wits Junction Cluster (in Parktown, near the Medical School and Education Campus) NB: Residence application rules apply
You will be awarded a University Entrance Scholarship based on your Matric Admission Points Score (APS) calculated using 6 subjects* (excluding Life Orientation): APS of 51 or above = R42 000 APS 48-50 = R30 000 APS 45-47 = R15 000 APS 43-44 = R10 000 The scholarship amount is allocated to your tuition fee account. Other scholarships include the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship and the Vice-Chancellor’s Equality Scholarship. NB: Scholarship rules apply. Students cannot be awarded more than one scholarship. * The 6 highest subject scores are used in the APS calculation. However, faculty-specific subjects must be included.
