What Is Ulwazi?

Ulwazi is the official WITS Learning Management System (LMS).

Ulwazi is used as a platform to deliver and support online teaching and learning. Ulwazi is powered by CANVAS.

You will have access to all your courses and course material once you have logged into Ulwazi

Ulwazi is available on PC, Web and Mobile

Why Do I Need To Use Ulwazi?

You need to use Ulwazi in order to continue and succeed in your studies.

Download The Canvas Student Mobile App Go to your app store and download 'Canvas Student'

Search For Your Institution Open the app and search For 'Ulwazi University of the Witwatersrand (Wits)' 1

Select 'Find My School'

After following the steps above - You will see this page: 1 Insert Your Username

Username: <StudentNumber>@Students.wits.ac.za Example: 2130516@Students.wits.ac.za

Password: Your Password That Was Sent To You Via SMS (The same password that you use for your email) Example: 113.ICT.Student
