About the Winter School

Skukuza Research Station, Kruger National Park, South Africa

This interdisciplinary program is designed for early-career researchers, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral fellows working on sustainability, climate change, and governance. Themed "Navigating Transformations in the Context of Justice and Equity," the Winter School will provide a unique setting for interactive discussions, fieldwork, and group projects.

• Bridging and Bonding: Strengthening interdisciplinary collaborations

• Transformative Culture and Learning: Exploring cultural shifts in sustainability

• Disruptive Change: Understanding innovation and structural shifts

• Democracy and Multilateralism Under Pressure: Examining Governance Challenges

Who Can Apply?

• PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career faculty in relevant fields

• Practitioners working on sustainability and governance

• Scholars with a strong interest in justice and equity in sustainability transformations

Limited to 20 participants

• 10 places reserved for African candidates (US$500)

• 10 places for the global community (US$550)
