England’s Red Roses travel to Murrayfield on Saturday for the 36 clash in this thriller. Out of 35 previous encounters England have won 33, losing in the 1999 European Championship 3 place playoff game having lost their semifinal game to France, the eventual winners.
hThe Red Roses are currently on a 34-game winning streak, but not wanting to tempt fate it will be a tough game at the home of Scottish rugby, come on England!
The fattest knight at King Arthur's round table was Sir Cumference.
He acquired his size from too much Pi.

Angels can fly, right? Well, this one certainly can. Our very own Ella Scarffe, or should I say Cpl Scarffe, RAF, has taken her talents to new heights. Formerly the youngest-ever captain of our Angels, Ella’s journey has taken an exciting new direction since late last year, when she successfully enlisted in the RAF.
In just six months, she’s not only earned the rank of Corporal, but has also been selected for the RAF Women’s team, taking on the Royal Navy today at Franklin’s Gardens, Northampton.
We wish Ella all the very best, both in today’s match and in her chosen career. We couldn’t be prouder of you. Oh, and don’t let her forget her RAF team nickname; “PropElla,” very fitting for our former Angel’s captain.

The Academy signed off the season in style with a well-earned win away at Didcot against tough opposition. Squally conditions and a firm pitch made things challenging, but Witney adapted best early on. A clever 50–22 from Ben set up field position, and from the resulting lineout, Keagan’s powerful break set up George Smith to score. George added a second soon after with a quick tap penalty to make it 10–0.
Didcot responded strongly, putting Witney under sustained pressure and eventually crossing just before half-time to close the gap to 10–5.
The second half message was clear: move the ball, attack space, and keep it alive. Witney delivered, with Ben breaking the line to set up J-Man for a well-worked try. Seth then sealed the result with a strong finish out wide to make it 20–5.
A competitive game throughout, and a fitting end to the season — showing both the team’s quality and its potential. Credit to the squad as well, with 14 players stepping up to senior rugby this season.
MOTM: George Smith
DOTD: George Boz / Joe Jeche (arriving five minutes before kick-off)
Special mention to Fin, stepping up from the U16s and impressing.

We are off to Chinnor on Saturday for a game against their Walking Rugby new guys. If they are anything like the rest of the Club, they will be no push over. What is exciting is that we will get to see Chinnor 1 XV against Worcester Warriors in the Championship. Should be a good game and therefore a great day. st

Be over 60 with a pacemaker!
