Within Studio served as interior design lead for Pima Medical Institute’s new flagship campus, a 50,000 sq. ft. adaptive reuse project that transformed the former Townsend Middle School into a state-of-the-art medical career college. Organized around a 25,000 sq. ft. central courtyard, the building preserves its original Tucson Unified School District exterior while introducing a fully remodeled interior with a collegiate look and feel. The project consolidated six Tucson-area campuses and relocated 136 employees to a single site, streamlining operations and enhancing student experience.

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB

Within Studio is proud to contribute to the transformation of the Boys & Girls Clubs’ 36th Street campus into a dynamic Teen Tech & Workforce Readiness Center.
Designed to empower youth ages 8–18, the renovated 17,000+ sq. ft. facility includes specialized program rooms for STEM, digital media, music, robotics, and wellness, alongside a 6,953 sq. ft. gymnasium and collaborative study zones.
The center supports career readiness through hands-on modules in coding, multimedia, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies like AI and drone hardware.
Within Studio’s design goal was to reflect the Club’s mission: to inspire, uplift, and equip the next generation. This is more than a renovation—it’s a launchpad for lifelong learning and leadership.

SALPOINTE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL
STERNS CENTER FOR THE ARTS

A radiant hub of creativity and faith, the Stearns Center for the Arts invites students to explore the full spectrum of human expression. Within its 28,000 square feet, this purpose-built sanctuary houses the Corcoran Theater, Stevens Gallery, Pocono Music Studio, Foundation Choir Studio, Clements Dance Studio, and Lopez 2D and 3D Visual Arts Studios, each space a vessel for discovery, discipline, and joy. The Sullivan Atrium welcomes guests with grace, while behind the scenes, dressing rooms, a green room, set design workshop, and costume shop support the alchemy of performance.
Designed to elevate both reflection and resonance, the center embodies Salpointe’s holistic mission to cultivate minds, stir hearts, and celebrate the divine spark of creativity in every Lancer.

After a devastating arson in 2022, Salpointe chose not just to rebuild but to rise. The new Lancer building reimagines student support with campus ministry, counseling, and college services in a centralized, mission driven hub.
Opened in January 2025, the adjacent Wellness Center features a Meditation Studio, Instructional Kitchen, Wellness Activity Studio, and eleven English classrooms.
At its heart is the Recharge Room, an immersive, neuroscience backed space that reduces stress and sharpens focus. Guided by Carmelite values and eight pillars of wellness, this project reflects a future rooted in faith, healing, and hope.

From humble beginnings in 1950 to a collegiate level campus in 2019, Salpointe’s evolution reflects a bold commitment to academic excellence, holistic formation, and community connection. At the heart of campus, the 25,000 square foot Student Center anchors daily life, home to Foundation Hall, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Chapel, the Library and Technology Center, and vital student services.
Just steps away, the 10,000 square foot STEM Center sparks innovation through its triplex of labs: Biotechnology, Fabrication, and the Innovation Center. A solar powered senior patio and DNA shaped agricultural garden extend learning into the landscape, cultivating curiosity and collaboration.
Together, these spaces embody Salpointe’s mission to educate with purpose, design with integrity, and prepare students to lead with heart.

PYT EARLY LEARNING CENTER

Rooted in tradition and rising toward possibility, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe’s new 9,524 SF (Phase 1) Early Learning Center, Itom Ili Tosapo Am Remtituane, or “Our Little Nest of Enlightenment,” honors the sacred responsibility of nurturing the next generation.
Designed to serve children ages 2 to 7, the center provides culturally grounded childcare for working families while immersing young learners in Pascua Yaqui language, tradition, and ceremony. Located on the Tribe’s Westside land, this vibrant facility is more than a school, it is a sovereign space of healing, growth, and ancestral pride.
The center reflects a shared commitment to intergenerational connection, holistic development, and self determined futures. Every classroom, courtyard, and gathering space is a promise that learning begins with love, and that culture is the first curriculum.

ST MARK CATHOLIC CHURCH

In the foothills of Oro Valley, where desert light meets sacred rhythm, St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church is expanding its campus to deepen connection, hospitality, and formation. Rooted in Carmelite tradition and guided by a vibrant parish community, the new hall will serve as a gathering place for liturgy, fellowship, and lifelong learning. From Eucharistic Adoration to digital ministry, St. Mark bridges ancient faith with modern outreach, offering podcasts, prayer, and pastoral care to seekers near and far. This next chapter honors the parish’s mission to proclaim the Gospel with joy, build communion with grace, and create spaces where every soul feels seen, nourished, and called.
