Within Studio is an interior design leader in Tucson, Arizona, and New Orleans, Louisiana.
We are a minority woman–owned and operated firm, founded by Florencia DeRoussel in 2005.
We are a full-service interior design studio known for our thoughtful and inspired approach in expressing our client’s vision.
At Within Studio, design is an interactive experience, where the client and design team collaborate to achieve powerful and extraordinary spaces that honor the environment, the end user, and everything within.
We are creative, collaborative thinkers who understand the human experience and work to provide inspired and meaningful interiors. We use the power of design and compassion for our communities to create positive change.

FLORENCIA DEROUSSEL
PRINCIPAL, CEO
Florencia DeRoussel launched Within Studio in 2005 in Tucson, Arizona. Her process-driven approach to design earned her recognition as one of Tucson's leading interior designers. Within Studio has o ices in Arizona, Louisiana, and Florida, working on a variety of corporate o ice, hospitality, retail and multi-family projects. Within is a woman and Latina owned-run-company.
Florencia employs a collaborative and creative design process. Within Studio has a team-based design culture that embodies creative passion, innovation, and authenticity. Florencia's ability to forge strong connections, and her ability to communicate complex solutions to clients in an accessible, relatable way has led to lasting, trusted client relationships.
In her role as a principal, Florencia stewards some of Within's most important client relationships. She is passionate about delivering creative solutions to our clients and leading for excellence with our teams. Florencia brings 25 years of experience managing the delivery of large capital projects in a variety of sectors and across multiple geographies, including Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Drawing on 35 years of experience in architectural and graphic design, Carla has built a reputation as a strategic leader and design innovator. Born in Argentina, she moved to New Orleans, where she began her career in architecture and graphic design. Carla brings a fresh, global perspective to every opportunity.
Since joining Within Studio in 2011, Carla has collaborated with clients across retail, hospitality, entertainment, financial services, media, technology, fashion, and beauty. Over the past decade, she has led the growth and direction of Within Studio’s visual identity and branding. A seasoned graphic designer, Carla now project-manages corporate and hospitality branding initiatives, creating spaces that align with each client’s brand and business goals.
A dedicated mentor and creative thinker, Carla believes in the power of process to generate innovative solutions.

Crystal is the Studio Director based in Within Studio’s Miami satellite o ice, where she has played a key role in establishing the firm’s presence in Florida through strong client relationships and team leadership. She works across the firm to advance design impact, innovation, and experience.
Born and raised in Arizona, Crystal began her career at Within Studio’s Tucson o ice, building a diverse portfolio that includes corporate campuses, high end residential projects, and commercial o ice environments. After relocating to Florida in 2016, she expanded her experience to include multifamily residential and restaurant design, and most recently spent two years with Tillberg Design of Sweden, a global leader in luxury cruise ship, hotel, and restaurant interiors.
A multidisciplinary designer, Crystal is known for her collaborative approach, client focus, and commitment to thoughtful, service driven design. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University.

As an accomplished designer with over 8 years of experience, Carla brings a creative and entrepreneurial spirit to our Tucson studio. Her innate understanding of good design and humancentric philosophy delivers creative solutions to our clients while reinforcing the firm's reputation for design excellence.
Carla's body of work is diverse in scale and type, spanning a variety of industries and project types, including multi-family residential, retail and hospitality design. She ensures her innovative solutions bring each client's brand to life at every customer experience touchpoint.

A budding inspired and talented genius, Jordan works closely with our senior designers to increase the competitiveness of the firm in an ever more challenging design environment. She helps lead clients to develop authentic, engaging ideas through a fearless process of discovery, always focused on embracing bold solutions and thinking big.

Junior designer based in the New Orleans Rachel works alongside our senior team on the firm's most complex projects, balancing forward thinking creativity with a foundation of creative graphic and interior
Rachel pairs an understanding of human behavior with the exploration of environmental, architectural, retail, and graphic design solutions to create projects with user experiences that are as considered and cohesive as they are comprehensive.

joined Within Studio as a junior at Louisiana University. A passionate storyteller, Kylee is her skills in developing immersive, narrative-driven experiences for our clients. Her bridges storytelling, physical experiences, architectural design with a collaborative approach that works to create compelling that transport and inspire.
An excellent communicator, Kylee has developed long-term relationships with the entire Within Studio team. Her detailed approach to our projects provides our senior team with smart and e icient project solutions.
role as Within Studio’s Digital Experience Esteban brings 20 years of expertise in art digital innovation. He has a proven track of delivering mixed-use and commercial projects. Since joining Within Studio in Esteban has participated in a variety of where he’s become known as the authority on technical design and delivery.
