Within Studio is an interior design leader in Tucson Arizona and New Orleans, Louisiana. Minority woman owned and run; we were founded by Florencia DeRoussel in 2005.
We are a full-service interior design studio known for our thoughtful and inspired approach in expressing our client’s vision.
At Within Studio, design is an interactive experience, where the client and design team collaborate to achieve powerful and extraordinary spaces that honor the environment, the end user, and everything within.
We are creative, collaborative thinkers who understand the human experience and work to provide inspired and meaningful interiors. We use the power of design and compassion for our communities to create positive change.

We are a highly collaborative group of individuals who enjoy working together and are generous about sharing our knowledge, research, and innovations. We consider ourselves a team of friends working together to solve complex problems. We are a collaboration among optimistic, empowered experts.
While Within offices are in multiple states; we work as a single studio that is both ethnically and culturally diverse. Our goal is for the spaces and interiors we create to shape the lives of our clients and the community.
FLORENCIA DEROUSSEL
PRINCIPAL,
CEO
Florencia DeRoussel launched Within Studio in 2005 in Tucson, Arizona. Her process-driven approach to design earned her recognition as one of Tucson's leading interior designers. Within Studio has offices in Arizona, Louisiana, and Florida, working on a variety of corporate office, hospitality, retail and multi-family projects. Within is a woman and Latina owned-run-company.
Florencia employs a collaborative and creative design process. Within Studio has a team-based design culture that embodies creative passion, innovation, and authenticity. Florencia's ability to forge strong connections, and her ability to communicate complex solutions to clients in an accessible, relatable way has led to lasting, trusted client relationships.
In her role as a principal, Florencia stewards some of Within's most important client relationships. She is passionate about delivering creative solutions to our clients and leading for excellence with our teams. Florencia brings 23 years of experience managing the delivery of large capital projects in a variety of sectors and across multiple geographies, including Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Drawing on her 35 years' experience in architectural and graphic design, Carla has built a reputation as a strategic leader and design innovator. Having grown up in Argentina and started her career in architecture and graphic design, she approaches every opportunity with a fresh perspective.
Since joining Within Studio in 2011, Carla has worked with a wide variety of clients across retail, hospitality, entertainment, financial services, media, technology, fashion and beauty industries. In the past decade Carla was focused on growing and directing Within Studio's visual identity and branding. A seasoned graphic designer, Carla currently project-manages various corporate and hospitality branding projects creating spaces that resonate with the brand and business goals of her clients.
With a special focus on color theory, Carla is sought after for her unique expertise in the graphic design industry. A dedicated mentor and a creative thinker, Carla believes in the power of the design process to generate innovative solutions.

CRYSTAL BACA-CRUZ
Senior Interior Designer, Studio Director
As our Studio Director based out of our Miami satellite office, Crystal's ability to foster relationships and gain the trust of clients and team members has been instrumental to establishing Within Studio in Florida. She works across the firm to ensure that Within Studio continues to push the boundaries of impact, innovation and experience.
Born and raised in Arizona, Crystal's early career began at Within Studio's Tucson office. She built a well-rounded portfolio that features corporate campuses, high-end residential projects, and commercial office buildings. In 2016, Crystal moved to Florida and expanded her resume to include multi-family residential and restaurant design.

She initiates projects of all sizes and complexities with a common foundation: client engagement and service. Crystal inspires her teams and clients with her intellectual and energetic approach to create transformational thinking and enhanced human experience.

JORDAN GILLISPIE
INTERIOR DESIGNER
A graduate of Iowa State University, Jordan came to us in her junior year and has since established herself as a trusted and creative team member. She has been assisting our studio teams on a variety of projects and has been focused on developing her experience in the corporate, hospitality, medical and residential fields. A budding inspired and talented genius, Jordan works closely with our senior designers to increase the competitiveness of the firm in an ever more challenging design environment. She helps lead clients to develop authentic, engaging ideas through a fearless process of discovery, always focused on embracing bold solutions and thinking big.
RACHEL QUINLIVAN
JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
As a Junior designer based in the New Orleans office, Rachel works alongside our senior team on some of the firm's most complex projects, balancing forward thinking creativity with a foundation of creative graphic and interior design. Rachel pairs an understanding of human behavior with the exploration of environmental, architectural, retail, and graphic design solutions to create projects with user experiences that are as considered and cohesive as they are comprehensive.

Kylee joined Within Studio as a junior at Louisiana State University. A passionate storyteller, Kylee is honing her skills in developing immersive, narrative-driven experiences for our clients. Her role bridges storytelling, physical experiences, and architectural design with a collaborative approach that works to create compelling interiors that transport and inspire.
An excellent communicator, Kylee has developed long-term relationships with the entire Within Studio team. Her detailed approach to our projects provides our senior team with smart and efficient project solutions.
