This is one of the many themes touched upon in our new exhibit Souvenirs of Service. But while Souvenirs of Service approaches single pieces to highlight powerful individual stories, looking at groups of materials that show how basic human impulses endure across time and geography can be an equally powerful way to view more than 150 years worth of souvenirs in the Wisconsin Veterans Museum collection.
