REACH FURTHER, STAY LONGER

1 | LONGREACH

UNPRECEDENTED FREEDOM

While there is unprecedented uncertainty in the world, equally technology has never allowed so much scope for long range cruising to destinations once off limits to all except the most intrepid traveler.

A new unlimited freedom is possible, enabling you to explore the world on your own boat, on your own terms, enjoying modern apartment living.

But the choice of boat is paramount.

2 | LONGREACH
“TOO MUCH WIND, OR NOT ENOUGH”

Sailing catamarans provide incredible range, space and comfort, but the challenge is often ‘Too much wind or not enough’. Unless you are committed to sailing a high-performance catamaran, a calm blue ocean is usually under motor and a bumpy sea is often a reality.

3 | LONGREACH

WAKE UP

But achieving speed under motor shouldn’t be at the cost of high fuel consumption.

The energy required to push 20-30 tonnes of motor cruiser out of the water to planning speeds creates a fuel curve incompatible with long range cruising, let alone environmental ambitions. The convenience of speed under power doesn’t have to be at the cost of your back pocket or the planet.

4 | LONGREACH

‘TORPEDO’ HULL

Just like a Torpedo, the Longreach displacement hull enjoys super low resistance and very high performance dynamics enabling faster speeds with lower resistance with an unbeatable performance outcome.

5 | LONGREACH

20 YEARS IN THE MAKING

Longreach is a collaboration between builder Powerplay Catamarans and Multihull Central to create a new brand suited to the blue water cruising market.

Powerplay has been building custom power catamarans for more 20 years and Multihull Central has been delivering cruising catamarans for 20 years bringing you experienced partners in your build..

6 | LONGREACH

COMFORT IS KING

There is no compromise on creature comforts onboard a Longreach, with a full upright fridge, spacious saloon dining and galley opening into the cockpit.

The master cabins boast king sized beds with ensuites and fresh water flushing toilets for each cabin.

Watermaker, icemaker, air-conditioning, generator, solar and extensive navigation equipment are standard.

7 | LONGREACH

TECHNOLOGY & STANDARDS

Only the best quality internationally supplied materials and equipment are used to build a Longreach, with resin infusion technology incorporating closed cell foam core for superior strength and stiffness.

Built with extensive power systems that are incorporated to ensure self sustained living in remote locations. Longreach is built to the highest internationally recognized standards including CE Category A.

9 | LONGREACH

QUALITY OF FINISH

It’s difficult to get this quality of finish on high scale production boats, which is why Longreach enjoy semi-customization and lower production to ensure the customer get’s what is important to them (including hull colour) and to ensure quality is kept at a very high level.
