Photography is arguably the most permanent of all art forms. It captures its subject or setting, and the moment of creation in a way immune to the ravages of time, of perception and of changing sensibilities. While the perspective or objective of the photographer can be debated, the subject of a photograph can only be examined and understood. As a result, photography can uniquely document time, evolution and change.

Given the vast changes in the community that have occurred during that time frame, his work, in aggregate, visually defines many people and personalities you may recognize.
