This past Friday, we got together to celebrate Richard's life, after he passed away peacefully on his beloved South Beach Friday, July 5, 2019. During Richard's Celebration of Life at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, friends told funny stories about him, laughed, cried, and remembered a fun-loving friend who lived to the fullest. Several of his friends shared hilarious stories with lively examples of how Richard knew how to really have a good time and light up a room. They also recounted how Richard was a very loyal and generous friend who would do anything to support his friends, the charities he loved, and our LGBTQ community.

This week, we honor Richard's life in a special In Memoriam that celebrates his life well lived, and his enormous contribution to our LGBTQ community with the creation of TWIST. This past Friday, we got together to celebrate the life of our friend Richard Trainor who passed away peacefully on his beloved South Beach Friday, July 5, 2019. During Richard's Celebration of Life at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, friends told funny stories about him, laughed, cried, and remembered a fun-loving friend who lived to the fullest since he was a young man.

Several of his friends shared hilarious stories with lively examples of how Richard knew how to really have a good time and light up a room.

They also recounted how Richard was a very loyal friend who would do anything to support and help you. Many people spoke about his great generosity with his time and money, and how Richard personally donated to many causes and charities – including supporting several organizations just because his friends were part of them. Richard also loved the nightclub business and was passionate about art.

I will always remember that every time I saw Richard he had a big smile on his face and was full of spirit. He loved telling stories about having fun and even doing some crazy stu. I am going to miss that beautiful smile very much, along with

We say goodbye to somebody that brought so much happiness into so many of our lives. A true gentleman with kindness overflowing, he changed this town and changed our lives."

Even though he is no longer with us on this earth, Richard Trainor is going to live forever in our hearts through his beautiful legacy, and the safe, very entertaining space he built for the LGBTQ community and named TWIST. Richard's legacy is a wonderful gift that all of us who knew him will appreciate well beyond the countless, fun memories and sassy stories we will be sharing during the rest of our lives about Richard and his beloved TWIST. We love Richard and will miss him forever, but we will be smiling and thinking about him every time we walk through the front door of that very special place Richard created called TWIST, with "Never a cover. Rafa Carvajal: Where are you originally from and where do you live?

Ivan Garcia Fuentes: I'm originally from Madrid, Spain, but currently live mostly in Miami Beach.

RC: Describe yourself in three words.

IGF: Kind, headstrong and witty.

RC: What do you do for a living?

IGF: Whatever job that allows me to have enough free time to enjoy life, as well as to work on my Harley, and other at-home projects that I like to create with my own hands.

RC: Who is the professional icon that inspires you most, and why?

IGF: Sylvester Stallone, off the top of my head, and to mention one of the many who have created what seems to be a great life from nothing.

RC: How do you stay in such great shape?

IGF: I've been training since I was 18 years old, and over the years have learned to know my body and how it reacts, thus now I train and eat more intelligently.

RC: What do you enjoy the most about modeling for photography?

IGF: Being able to express myself in an artistic way, work with different photographers and see how they all have different styles that show different sides of me.

RC: Boxers or briefs?

IGF: Nothing.

RC: What is your favorite food?

IGF: How do you translate "cocido madrileño?" It's a traditional stew from Madrid, especially the one my yaya used to make.

Asian Night Brunch diners have the choice of one item per each of five columns on the menu. Our five delectable selections included the Naruto Roll with tuna, crab, salmon, avocado and ponzu sauce; Thai Lobster Salad with lobster tail, mango, fresno pepper, cilantro and scallions; Bombay Lamb with baby lamb chops, Balinese rice and mango yogurt sauce; Takoyaki with shrimp and octopus fritter, wasabi mayo, eel sauce, scallions, red tobiko and bonito flakes; and the Mango Mochi Ice Cream with raspberry coulis and wild berries for dessert.

This sophisticated Hong Kong-inspired cocktail lounge located on the 40th floor of EAST, Miami, with floor-to-ceiling windows, provided me with a delightful dining experience unlike any other I have experienced in Miami.

his Saturday, July 20th, Score will celebrate its 21st Anniversary at The Hangar, starting at 10 p.m. The evening will begin with South Beach's very own iconic DJ and drag queen Adora and a production she calls "Sabrosura and Ritmo," plus special cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. International DJ/producer and house music legend Abel Aguilera will take over the decks and keep everyone dancing the night away into a beautiful Miami Sunday morning.
