Vous logez au Royalp et vous voulez dîner dans un bon restaurant de Villars ? Laissez votre manteau dans la chambre car il vous suffira descendre au Rochegrise, le restaurant principal de l’hôtel. La salle est belle et les tables bien espacées. La cuisine y est clairement méridionale avec une carte qui fait la part belle aux pâtes, riz, légumes et poissons. On y retrouve aussi la très lombarde « Escalope de veau alla milanese » Breaded veal cutlet or piccata with lemon ou le piémontais Risotto carnaroli au parmiggiano et truffe blanche d’Alba Carnaroli risotto with parmiggiano cheese and white truffle from Alba. Rien de trop extravagant, uniquement de bons produits bien cuisinés. Pour les enfants ou ceux qui n’aiment pas prendre trop de risques (tant pis pour eux), la carte propose aussi des hamburgers et des pizzas.
Are you staying at the RoyAlp and want to dine at a good restaurant in Villars? Well, you can leave your coat in your hotel room, because all you need do is go downstairs to the Rochegrise which is hotel’s main restaurant. There is a superb dining room and the tables are well spaced apart. The cuisine has an obvious southern slant with the menu focusing on pasta, rice, vegetables and fish. Here, we also find the characteristically Lombardian “Escalope de Veau alla Milanese” Breaded Veal Cutlet or Piccata with Lemon and the Piedmontese “Risotto Carnaroli au Parmiggiano et Truffe Blanche d’Alba” Carnaroli Risotto with Parmesan Cheese and White Truffle from Alba. There’s nothing exceptionally extravagant; just good produce, expertly cooked. For children, or those who don’t like straying from the familiar (too bad for them!), there are also hamburgers and pizzas on the menu.
