Family Fun Tubing at The Plunge The Plunge – Virginia’s largest tubing park – is a 900- foot, mega-snowtubing hill for people 42 inches and taller. Tubers can reach thrilling speeds of 25 to 40 MPH with a vertical drop of 100 feet. Ridgely’s Fun Park Families with small children ages three and up will find all the excitement they need at Ridgely’s Fun Park, located at Discovery Ridge. Open on winter weekends and select holidays, this park offers a gentle tubing hill, snow forts, and bear paw snowshoes. Children 11 and under must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Sessions start on the hour. Ridgely’s Fun Park frequently sells out, so purchase your tickets early! The Aquatics & Fitness Center, adjacent to The Spa, features an indoor pool, outdoor pool (seasonal), outdoor hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, a well-equipped exercise center, locker rooms and experienced staff. The Fitness Center recently had a major renovation which increased the floor plan, added new equipment and a stunning wall of windows with improved views and light. The Fitness Center is limited to guests ages 16 and older. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older when visiting the Aquatics Center. The Aquatics & Fitness Center is exclusive to registered Wintergreen Resort guests, Wintergreen Members and guests of Members. Fitness classes are offered on weekends.
