Clay is a native of Charlotte and a graduate of Wofford College. Prior to joining Greater Winston-Salem, Inc., he served as Manager of Operations for ClubUp, a golf-related SaaS tech startup based in Charlotte. He is also currently in the Wake Forest MBA program. He and his wife Riley were married last year . Alesia Hilton has extensive experience as an educator and education leader, serving as a principal, assistant principal, case manager, and special education teacher throughout her career with WS/FCS. She has a Master of School Administration in Educational Leadership from NC A&T University, a Master of Special Education from Appalachian State University, and a BS in Special Education from Salem State University.
