PIPESTONE MIMBREÑO CHINA Seven hundred years ago, in what is now southwest New Mexico, the Mimbres people created beautiful pottery with elegant, playful designs suggested by the natural world around them.

The extraordinary architect and designer Mary Colter adapted these designs for classic Mimbreño China, the first-class dining car service on the very chic Super Chief line of the Santa Fe Railway. These authorized reproductions are the same excellent quality and classic style of the originals. Mimbreño China is very durable, high-fired china; microwave, oven and dishwasher safe.

Lorraine continues to produce fine stemware reflecting the ancient Native American cultures indigenous to New Mexico and Colorado. Each motif is sand-carved into the stemware.
