Learn about her childhood in Ohio during the Depression and how she rose to play in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League during World War II. Writing Short Poem Challenge June 15 – July 8 Share your voice in our Short Poem Challenge!

Submit one original poem of up to twelve lines for a chance to have your work recognized and celebrated. Open to ages 16 and up, this is a wonderful opportunity to express your creativity and connect with fellow writers. Entries will be judged by Winnetka author and poet Charlotte DiGregorio, and winners will be notified by July 25.
