Enjoy monthly craft events with local makers and artists!

MakerLabs and ClayMakers are designed for teens and adults. Family MakerLabs are open to younger participants, with a recommended minimum age based on the project. All MakerLab participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All supplies and tools are provided.

With guidance from beading artist Bronwyn Butterfield, learn to make seed bead earrings using a ladder stitch, brick stitch, and the two-drop bead technique. $80 | $75 for WAG Member or 2+

TAT T O O S Ages 4+ Sun, Jun 7, 4-6pm

Learn to make temporary tattoos with local tattoo artist Kay Stewart. Come up with your own designs, make a stencil, and “tattoo” one another. Each family will also receive a wooden “tattoo machine”* (pencil/crayon holder). $60 for one adult+child $10 for each additional guest *One “tattoo machine” per family.

• There is a non-refundable $12 registration fee to cover administration costs. Pay only one registration fee when registering for two or more classes, or two or more people per session.

• Refunds will only be issued if notification of withdrawal is received five (5) working days before the first day of the class or workshop.

Metered parking is available around the WAG on Memorial Blvd, St. Mary Ave, and Colony St. Parking lots are located on Colony St (north of Portage Ave by University of Winnipeg, and south of Portage Ave behind Plug In ICA), ImPark (The Bay parkade) across the street from the WAG, and on Good St behind the Sussex Realty Building.

The Winnipeg Art Gallery is located on Treaty No. 1, original lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininiwak, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation.

The WAG is open Sundays from 11am to 5pm. From 2pm to 4pm, Canada Life Free Sundays@WAG will feature complimentary activities for the whole family, including games, art making, tours, films, and performances.

Fuel up at the cash snack bar from 11am to 5pm.

Free public parking is available at the Canada Life parking lot behind 100 Osborne St. N. for visitors to Canada Life Free Sundays@WAG.
