It's a Wild Life In The Hunter Valley

IT’S A WILD-LIFE

IN THE HUNTER VALLEY!

Australian Wildlife Parks has officially launched Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, a new major drawcard for families to visit Hunter Valley Wine Country. Following their recent acquisition of the former Hunter Valley Zoo, the rebranded facility joins Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park (near Blacktown in Western Sydney) and Mogo Wildlife Park on the beautiful NSW South Coast (near Batemans Bay) as part of the largest privately-owned wildlife park group in Australia.

Hunter Valley Wildlife Park is home to a rich and diverse collection of wildlife, offering up-close encounters with meerkats, squirrel monkeys, lemurs for older children and adults, and children delight in hand-feeding wallabies and kangaroos, farmyard animals and ostriches and camels.

The wildlife park will soon also welcome new encounters with lions, maned wolves and capybaras, providing visitors with an amazing and unique experience to hand-feed and interact with these animals up close.

The park offers an experience like no other, using a QR code tour featuring animal education videos from Head Zookeeper Chad Staples, creating a personalised wildlife vibe. It is anticipated that the much loved interactive Zookeeper talks will return when social distancing rules ease.

To celebrate the start of a new era for the Hunter Valley, Australian Wildlife Parks has coincided the rebrand with the launch of its annual pass, the Australian Wildlife Parks Annual Pass. The pass offers unlimited visits for a year to not just one but three iconic wildlife parks in Featherdale Sydney, Hunter Valley and Mogo Wildlife Parks.

“We are so excited to offer locals and visitors incredible value with our new Australian Wildlife Parks annual pass – so they can see, hand feed, and engage with more animals, and importantly have positive upclose interactions with the amazing wildlife that call our Hunter Valley Wildlife Park home,” said Australian Wildlife Parks MD ‘Zookeeper Chad’ Chad Staples.
