From its 1893 beginnings as a dairy farm and fledgeling vineyard to the three successive generations who carefully cultivated it into a wine label of great renown, Oakvale has been proudly family-owned and operated. In its 128th year of production, two generations of another passionate family are writing their own chapter in Oakvale's winemaking history, we caught up with them to find out what's in store for the next 128 years, read more on page 12.
May wouldn't be May without recognising Mother's Day. Sunday 9th May sees various organised events throughout the Hunter Valley. From the simple to the extravagant, you would be hardpressed not to find a way to show your appreciation and love to the one person who knows all your quirks and loves you anyway!
