No significant findings. There is a 33 x 8mm, bipartite type II osseous fragment emanating from the plantaroproximal border of lateral PI. There two additional type II fragments present – 12 x 5mm dorsal to proximal aspect of the main fragment, and 6.5 x 2mm dorsal to the distal third of the main fragment. There is a 7 x 2.5mm type I osteochondral fragment emanating from the plantaroproximal aspect of medial PI. No significant findings. No significant findings.

Rating this horse as a low, moderate or high risk to develop lameness in one of the radiographed joints or areas I would rate this horse currently as a low to moderate risk. In my clinical experience horses tolerate type II fragmentation to PI in a hind fetlock very well in training.
