First, visit recreationliveshere.com/RecReg to create an account. If you already have an account, skip to Step 4.
On the registration page, click on the Sign In/Register tab and select Create a New Account near the bottom of the page.

Follow the prompts and enter the required information. During the process, you’ll be prompted to list family members who will be participating in activities. Listing each member will allow you to register them for a class and pay any required fees.
Once logged in, you can start your search for activities using the tabs at the top of the page or by clicking the image that matches the activity you are looking for. You can also narrow down programs, classes and activities based on your criteria by using the filters on the left: type of activity, by age or by activity number. An activity number is the digits located next to the activity name on the Activity Guide.
Once you’ve made you selection, click Add to Cart, then follow the prompts. Once you’ve added all the activities you want to participate in, select Proceed to Checkout and follow the instructions to register.

Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture welcomes you to our 85,000-square-foot Windsor Community Recreation Center (CRC). The Windsor CRC features two gymnasiums, fitness rooms, an elevated walking track and an indoor aquatic facility, in addition to a variety of other rooms and amenities.

Our indoor aquatic facility serves as the Windsor CRC’s centerpiece, featuring three lap lanes, a zero-depth entry pool with play feature, a lazy river, water slide and a 23-person hot tub! The full Aquatics section begins on page 28.

An auxiliary gym with an elevated walking and jogging track connects our 3,500-square-foot fitness space. Take advantage of our cutting-edge fitness rooms on the first and second floors, featuring Cybex cardiovascular and weight equipment. The full Fitness section begins on page 52.

Need a place for your child aged 1 to 9 years old to go during your Community Recreation Center visit? Drop in to use our childcare services Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-1:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 5-8 p.m., and Saturdays, 8 a.m.-Noon. Maximum time allowance of 90 minutes per visit.

Get ready for adventure at Kids to Park Day! This nationally recognized event invites families and children to step outside and embrace the outdoors. This event is all about discovering the beauty of our local parks, playgrounds, open spaces, learning and outdoor fun. The Farmers Market is back! Stroll through vendor booths featuring seasonal foods, baked treats and unique finds, all while enjoying live entertainment in a lively outdoor setting. Support local businesses, connect with neighbors and savor the flavors of the season.

Celebrate the 4th of July at Boardwalk Park with a full day of family-friendly fun. Fireworks will begin at dusk (weather permitting). Enjoy a variety of food and drinks from local trucks and vendors, along with offerings from the Windsor Lake concessions stand. Bring family and friends and take part in a festive community tradition filled with food, fun and patriotic spirit.

Enjoy an evening of outdoor adventure at our Family Camp Out. Activities include a campfire, fishing, paddle boats and a movie on the big screen at dusk. Set up camp in the afternoon before the event begins. A family dinner and light breakfast are included. Bring a tent, sleeping bags, flashlights, bug spray and fishing gear, including a license if required. Registration is required, and a participation fee applies.

We’re celebrating you at our Member Appreciation Night. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with games, complimentary snacks and more in appreciation of your support. This exclusive event is open to Windsor Community Recreation Center members including Monthly, Paid-In-Full, SilverSneakers and Renew Active pass holders. Join us for a special night dedicated to our valued members at the CRC.

Cast a line and make a memory at Eastman Park. The pond will be stocked with fish to give Windsor youth the chance to reel in their first catch. Participants may keep up to two fish and enjoy an included lunch featuring a hot dog, chips and a drink. Bring a fishing pole and any gear you would like to use. Join us for a fun, welcoming day by the water.

Each year, the Town of Windsor Tree Board and the Windsor Forestry staff hosts “Sick Tree Day”. Horticulture experts will visit homes throughout Windsor to assess sick or declining trees and provide clear guidance on care and next steps. This once-a-year opportunity helps protect the health, safety and beauty of our community’s trees.

Discover ways to give back at the Windsor Volunteer Fair. Meet local nonprofits and service organizations, learn about their impact and explore volunteer opportunities that match your interests. Enjoy a snack from a food truck and celebrate the spirit of service with neighbors and friends. Registration is not required. This drop-in event takes place at the Market Pavilion and will move indoors to the Windsor Recreation Center in case of inclement weather.

Treasure Island Demonstration Garden is an acre of public garden space is located along the Poudre Trail next to the Eastman Wetlands Experience at 1524 7th St. Half of the garden is dedicated to growing produce for the WindsorSeverance Food Pantry, and the other half of the garden demonstrates annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees that are well adjusted to growing in Windsor, Colorado. Visit for a quiet stroll, a guided tour, an educational class or just for fun! The Historic Halfway Homestead is an agricultural heritage site located at 335 McNeil Dr. With historic buildings, a nature play area, and a shady pavilion, this site is now open for public enjoyment. This site also features a community garden with plots available to rent.
Celebrate special days throughout the summer with a tour of Treasure Island Demonstration Garden! Drop in during the hours of 1:30-3:30pm to stroll or roll through a stunning acre of vegetables, annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs that thrive in Windsor. Town of Windsor Museums comprises the Windsor History Museum—celebrating its 50th Birthday—the Art & Heritage Center; the Eaton House; and the Historic Halfway Homestead.
The Museum Education team provides educational programming for all ages across various subjects from Windsor history.

MARYANNA YAUK: RETROSPECTIVE EXHIBITION
Celebrate long time Windsor artist Maryanna Yauk’s extensive art collection in this retrospective exhibit. Maryanna was a Windsor staple and passed away in 2025. Her work spans many decades and even more mediums. See her work at both the AHC and the Community Recreation Center for the duration of the show.

Join us for Windsor’s second annual collaborative art exhibition, where creative boundaries are meant to be crossed. Visual artists have been paired with poets, musicians, and multimedia artists, spending three months developing entirely new, original works together.

Welcome to the Playhouse. These preschool camps encourage children to explore the world around them while building confidence outdoors and a foundation for STEAM learning. This is a child-only camp, and participants must be potty trained. Morning and afternoon sessions of each theme offer the same experience.
Farmyard Friends: Discover life on a farm through art, science, stories, music and guided outdoor play at the historic Dickey Farmhouse.
Habitat Adventure: Explore habitats through hands-on art, simple science experiments, stories, songs and outdoor exploration.

Join us for playful outdoor exploration at the Halfway Homestead. You and your child can create in the mud kitchen, build rivers at the water feature, construct imaginative structures and practice balancing skills. A small educator-led activity is also available. Drala Mountain Center, is a six-hundred-acre mountain valley surrounded by native forests, gentle meadows and rocky peaks. Build confidence and skills with Bridge Swim Camp. Designed for swimmers who have completed Stroke School and are preparing for the Windsor Dolphins Swim Team, this program helps participants strengthen technique in all four strokes while improving endurance and stamina. In a positive, coached environment, swimmers continue developing the skills needed for a smooth transition to team competition.
Take your training to the next level with Elite Swim Camp. Designed for swimmers preparing for middle or high school seasons, this program offers high-intensity workouts for those with competitive experience, including participants from the Windsor Dolphins Swim Team who are interested in club competition. Swimmers will refine stroke technique, build endurance and learn to use training equipment effectively — gaining strength and confidence in and out of the water.
Windsor Dolphins Swim Team is recommended for participants who have successfully completed Stroke School.
Our CARA Swim Team fosters skill development and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment. Participants must be able to swim 50 continuous yards, perform freestyle with side breathing, be familiar with the four competitive strokes, and demonstrate the ability to swim for 90 minutes in a coached setting.

Find balance and fresh air with SUP Yoga on Kyger Reservoir. This class blends stand-up paddleboarding and yoga on calm, nonmotorized waters. After paddling to a quiet spot, participants anchor their boards and move through guided poses, breathing and relaxation techniques.

Are you ready for a splish-splash good time?
Located off 7th St. and Eastman Park Dr. north of the playground, shelter, skatepark and soccer fields is a local river adventure unlike anything else in the Town of Windsor called the Eastman Park River Experience. The Eastman Park River Experience features a rivermile devoted to local kayaking, canoeing, tubing and fun.
This outdoor experience features a dedicated float launch and take out area, a scenic river plaza that provides river access for general water enjoyment, picturesque views of the Cache la Poudre River and Longs Peak and an amazing new hangout spot.
Rentals are available at the concessions pavilion by the playground. Float times vary and all tubes must be returned by close of rentals. Time of last tube rented will be dependent on current flow rate of river. Tube valet service is included with rentals.

The 2026/2027 cheer season is quickly approaching! We are excited to be offering evaluations for prep and elite level teams. Your athlete will participate in a 3-day evaluation. Day 1 we will introduce skill areas and teach a dance. Day 2 athletes will have time to review and practice the routine and skills. Day 3 we will hold evaluations! Athletes should come to evaluations wearing comfortable athletic gear, hair in the high ponytail, sneakers, and bring a water bottle.

Groups of horticulture experts will be making the rounds in Windsor to look at sick or dying trees and offer advice and suggestions. Experts are knowledgeable about all aspects of forestry and horticulture including diseases and pests that are common in the area.
This is a once-a-year event that is FREE for the citizens of Windsor. Residents may schedule an appointment by calling the Community Recreation Center at (970) 674-3500. The Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture Reduced Fee and Severance Youth Scholarship Programs are funded through generous donations from multiple sources including the Windsor Town Board and United Way of Weld County. Reduced fees and scholarships are available for Windsor and Severance residents meeting qualification guidelines including proof of income, household size and proof of residency taken from a property tax certification, utility bill or rental agreement. Applications are available at the front desk of the Community Recreation Center.
Uniforms are sold at the Community Recreation Center. Recreational uniforms may be exchanged or returned within 10 business days of purchase date if it hasn’t been worn or washed and the tags are still attached

Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture has a reduced fee program that offers financial assistance to Windsor residents (both children and adults) who need support in order to participate in recreation activities.
Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture has established a scholarship program that offers financial assistance for youth athletic/program registrations to Severance residents under 18 years.
Please contact the Community Recreation Center to obtain an application or you can fill one out online at recreationliveshere.com/ ReducedFee. Your request will be confidentially reviewed and approved based on financial qualifications.
We are foster friendly - reduced fees are available to foster children 18 and under.

The Aims Community College Windsor campus has everything you need to launch your career. With state-of-the-art facilities, hands-on training and general education classes, you can seamlessly complete all of your degree or certificate requirements right here in Windsor.
The campus is conveniently located close to the I-25 corridor, just north of U.S. Route 34. Our full-service site houses the Aims Automotive and Technology Center, Northern Colorado’s premier Public Safety Institute, and our new Gateway building housing Aviation, Criminal Justice, and Fire Science programs and the Sim City Training Yard.
General education classes are held on the Windsor campus as well, providing convenience for students.
