On the registration page, click on the Sign In/Register tab and select Create a New Account near the bottom of the page.
Follow the prompts and enter the required information. During the process, you’ll be prompted to list family members who will be participating in activities. Listing each member will allow you to register them for a class and pay any required fees.
Once logged in, you can start your search for activities using the tabs at the top of the page or by clicking the image that matches the activity you are looking for. You can also narrow down programs, classes and activities based on your criteria by using the filters on the left: type of activity, by age or by activity number. An activity number is the digits located next to the activity name on the Activity Guide.
Once you’ve made you selection, click Add to Cart, then follow the prompts. Once you’ve added all the activities you want to participate in, select Proceed to Checkout and follow the instructions to register.

Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture welcomes you to our 85,000-square-foot Windsor Community Recreation Center (CRC). The Windsor CRC features two gymnasiums, fitness rooms, an elevated walking track and an indoor aquatic facility, in addition to a variety of other rooms and amenities.
Our indoor aquatic facility serves as the Windsor CRC’s centerpiece, featuring three lap lanes, a zero-depth entry pool with play feature, a lazy river, water slide and a 23-person hot tub! The full Aquatics section begins on page #24.
An auxiliary gym with an elevated walking and jogging track connects our 3,500-square-foot fitness space. Take advantage of our cutting-edge fitness rooms on the first and second floors, featuring Cybex cardiovascular and weight equipment. The full Fitness section begins on page #34.
Need a place for your child aged 1 to 9 years old to go during your Community Recreation Center visit? Drop in to use our childcare services Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 1:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 4:30 - 7 p.m., and Saturdays, 8 a.m. - Noon. Maximum time allowance of 90 minutes per visit.
You must ‘stache to dash! You can grow your own moustache or pick out a fake one at check-in, but staches are a must for this ride! Join us as we ride in style to represent the Windsor, Severance and Timnath region at Fort Collins Open Streets.
We will meet at Timnath Community Park for check-in, a coffee bar, and a free moustache and bike decoration station. At 10:15 a.m., we will take off on a group bike ride following the new trail underneath I-25, ending at Lady Moon Dr. in Fort Collins for Open Streets.
At 12 p.m., the group will begin our return ride from Open Streets to Timnath Community Park. The total ride will be between 15 and 20 miles long. Youth participants are welcome if they can ride the whole route or have an alternate transportation plan.

Join us for a spellbinding morning at Witch Paddle, where the magical world of witches meets the serene waters of our local lake! Dust off your broomsticks and grab your paddles for a bewitching paddle boarding experience unlike any other. Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or a curious beginner, this event promises fun, community and a touch of enchantment.

Join us for a day of automotive excellence at the annual Windsor Cruise-In car show, presented by Origin! We’ll pack Windsor High School’s student parking lot with a stunning collection of vintage and classic cars ranging from 1920’s and older through today. Car enthusiasts and casual visitors can enjoy the beautifully restored vehicles, music, and food trucks. Fuel your inner classic car junkie and come celebrate the beauty and history of classic cars! No registration required for this event.

Get ready to unleash your inner hero at our annual Mother-Son Superhero Dance! Join us for a night filled with epic fun, incredible dance moves and heroic adventures. We invite all grandmothers, aunts and mothers to don your superhero capes and join your brave little sidekicks for an action-packed evening of joy and laughter. Light refreshments will be provided, ensuring a marvelous experience for all attendees. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this unforgettable event! So, grab your cape or costume, bring your best dance moves and make it a night to remember!

Kid’s Nite Out Across America (KNO) is an independent youth activity program held weekly at the CRC. KNO provides a fun, safe, active environment for every participant. A variety of games and activities are offered, such as swimming, dancing to a DJ, sports tournaments, arts and crafts, and more! Parents must bring their child into the facility upon arrival, and participants cannot leave until a parent or authorized guardian comes into the building for pick up. Ready to outrun the dead? Join us for a family-friendly race around Windsor Lake to see if you can outrun your friendly neighborhood zombies. Costumes are encouraged!
Check-in for the race begins at 11:30 a.m. and the zombies are unleashed at 12 p.m. Make sure to check out the Halloween Carnival for more spooky fun.

The Historic Halfway Homestead has a long history as the longest continually inhabited site in Windsor from 1873 until 2019, when it was transferred to the Town of Windsor Museums. This series of Sunday afternoon gatherings gives community members a chance to feel at home in a local historic landmark. Join us each month for informal tours, conversations and hands-on activities.
September: Learn about the historic preservation process and get behind-the-scenes details on the year-long project that brought the Dickey House back to life. See lots of photos and the results of years of research.
October: Join in on a conversation with some long-time Windsor residents who spent time on this site when it was still an active farm. Hear first-hand how the place has changed and maybe get some dirt on family drama.
November: The Windsor-Severance Historical Society is happy to host their annual Legends and Lessons event. Celebrate important members of the Windsor community who have had an impact on recording, preserving and sharing Windsor’s history.
December: Come get hands-on and learn to make a traditional German-Russian holiday treat! Hear about the holidays in historic Windsor and leave with some goodies you prepared yourself!

Have you ever wanted to play a mystery game like “Clue” in real life? Put on your detective hat and gather your team to discover the culprit.
We’re traveling back in time; there’s a mystery afoot. As Windsor approaches Halloween, the usual hijinks turn a bit more… mysterious. An unknown culprit is loose, and the townsfolk are on guard. Can you crack the case and set things right?
Gather your team of 2-6 people for this exciting evening where mystery and history collide. You will interview key witnesses, explore the museum for clues after dark, and guess who the main suspect is. Teams who guess correctly will be entered to win a prize! The 4 p.m. time slot is for ages 8+. The 7 p.m. time slot is for ages 14+ only. Dressing up is encouraged!

October: Little Farm on the Prairie at the Historic Von Trotha-Firestien Farm - Experience life on a hundred-yearold farm during this exciting day offered in partnership with the Windsor-Severance Historical Society! The Von Trotha-Firestien Farm has been an operational farm since 1916. Tour the original barn, create your own quilt square, do a scavenger hunt full of farm activities and more.

Yoga is 5,000 years old, yet we are just now studying the impact of yoga on the mind and body. Yoga changes the brain, seemingly regardless of age or disability. This hour-long session will include information about the science and research of yoga and a 30-minute yoga practice that is meant for all ages and abilities. Dr. Arlene Schmid is an occupational therapist with a PhD in rehabilitation sciences. She is a professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy and director of Intervention Research for the Translational Neurological Lab at Colorado State University. She and her team have completed multiple studies regarding yoga, including yoga for individuals with brain injury, stroke, pain, diabetes, and other issues.

Walking Levels for Day Trips & Tours:
The following walking levels will be assigned to each active adult trip or tour to help you decide which trips and tours are suitable for you. Each level is based upon research done by staff. The Community Recreation Center reserves the right to change levels, if necessary, when additional information becomes available.
Minimal walking, primarily flat surfaces.
To fully participate there may be leisurely walking over primarily even surfaces and some uneven surfaces; standing may be required and possibly a few stairs.
To fully participate there may be extended periods of walking over even and uneven surfaces and some incline. There may be steps and extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitations should take this into account.
Stay fit by exploring the great outdoors. Trails will be easy to moderate in length and difficulty. Destinations include Rocky Mountain National Park, Poudre Canyon and the Horsetooth area (among others). Be prepared for outdoor conditions. Bring snacks, a sack lunch, water bottle, rain jacket, sunscreen and money for entrance into the park or bring your park pass (when necessary). Locations are subject to change depending on weather conditions and other variables that the guide takes into consideration. All hikes are from 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and cost $23. Spend a relaxing day at the ballpark watching the Colorado Rockies! Seats are located on the main level in the outfield field mezzanine, sections 144 and 145. For 70+ years, the historic Estes Park Tram has carried more than 3 million visitors to the top of 8,900-foot Prospect Mountain. Soar to the summit on this historic red tram for stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and the Continental Divide. Learn about the fascinating history of the tram and the engineer who brought this unique style of tram to North America, and be sure to explore the gift shop! Enjoy the tram’s unique free-span design, meaning no support towers for the ride to the top, allowing for a smooth ride! The tour begins in front of Gaetano’s Restaurant. Gaetano’s was owned by the Mafia family in Denver from 1944 to 2005. The tour takes an hour and a half, as you drive through north Denver’s Little Italy. See 22 sights, including haunts, homes and crime scenes of Denver’s Mafia figures. The tour ends with lunch at Gaetano’s Restaurant. After lunch, tour the basement of Gaetano’s, which was used as the headquarters and gambling den of the crime family, and bugged by the FBI in 1980. You must take the tour to find out what celebrities visited the restaurant! Lunch is on your own at Gaetano’s, so bring a little extra scharole (money).

Elk bugling is one of the top fall sights in Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). Elk bugling season is from midSeptember through November. During this time, visitors can see up to hundreds of elk at a time gather amidst the unbeatable Rocky Mountain scenery for an unforgettable sight. It’s common to hear males bugling through the crisp mornings just before dawn and tranquil evenings just before dusk. Visitors should listen to the distinct sounds of different bulls. Before heading home, we’ll stop for dinner in Estes Park.

The two primary missions are rescuing and caring for animals and educating people about the Captive Wildlife Crisis. The sanctuary is not a zoo and offers an entirely different experience than most people are used to. The rescued animals live in significant open acreage habitats and are never forced to remain front-and-center so that people can see them more easily. Yet, the elevated walkway (more than 1.5 miles long) spans numerous habitats and provides plenty of opportunities for our guests to see many of the rescued animals closer. Looking to improve your swimming skills or learn how to swim? Whether solo or with a friend at the same skill level, sign up now for private swim lessons. Ideal for students who learn better with individual attention, including anxious first-time swimmers, students with disabilities, adults who have put off learning to swim, and competitive swimmers who would benefit from targeted training on specific skill sets.

Our Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA) Swim Team fosters skill development and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment. Participants must be able to swim 50 continuous yards, perform freestyle with side breathing, be familiar with the four competitive strokes, and demonstrate the ability to swim for 90 minutes in a coached setting.

Our tumbling classes allow athletes to learn new skills, build strength and have fun in a safe environment. We focus on floor tumbling skills with progressions, beginning with forward rolls, cartwheels, back/front walkovers, up to back handsprings and tucks. Classes are divided by skill after the first class, and athletes are given drills and instructions to grow at their own pace and potential. Athletes must wear comfortable athletic gear and have their hair in a high ponytail for safety. Also, please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Northern Colorado Dance…creating ARTists one step at a time!
Dancers age 2+ focus on the joy of learning movement! Coordination, dynamics, and body in space all provide the foundation for classical ballet training beginning at age 7.
Adults enjoy beginner-intermediate ballet and multigeneration tap classes for dancers ages 7 and up!
Taught in a structured setting with a studio atmosphere for progressive, continued study through the semester and years. Fall semester includes our performing group! Semester sign-up is required to participate. Our version of Cinderella will take the stage at various venues. Nonperformance classes are available.

Workouts designed by perinatal exercise trainer Michelle Tucker for moms to help them stay strong in pregnancy, rehab after childbirth, and gain a fit and strong body for all seasons of motherhood. These exercises are approved by a physical therapist, are specific for prenatal and postpartum seasons, and benefit moms of any age.

You are warmly invited to step away from the holiday rush and into a space of stillness and calm. In honor of the Winter Solstice, when nature slows down and turns inward, we’ll gather for a deeply relaxing 90-minute restorative yoga class. This gentle practice is designed to help you unplug from stress, release deep tensions, calm your mind and restore balance to your body and spirit. Open to all levels, there is no prior yoga experience needed. Bring or wear warm, stretchy, comfortable clothing, a pair of cozy socks, a yoga mat and any other props that bring you comfort.

Earn the privilege of using the fitness floor before age 16. Participants will meet in small groups with a fitness staff member to learn fitness floor rules, safety and spotting, and correct equipment use. Upon successful completion, those aged 12 to 15 may use the fitness floor and equipment without adult supervision.

Teams play six league games and a single elimination tournament. This is a recreation league and is designed for teams that have a variety of average to higher skilled players.

This is a fun recreational league geared towards friendly competition and sportsmanship and includes an end-ofseason tournament. Get a team together and get active this coming fall!
Location: Grandview Elementary School Gymnasium Age: 18+
Special rules of Turkey Ball include running the bases in the opposite direction. Awards will be given to the tournament champions! Turkey Ball will be played rain, snow or shine. Teams consist of nine to 12 players and are guaranteed three games.
Location: Chimney Park Age: 18+
Mushball will be played rain, snow or shine. Each team will play five regular season games. The end-of-season tournament will be on Saturday, Nov. 15. This will be a double elimination tournament with two games guaranteed. We will play with the original 16-inch Mushball rules.

The Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA) Basketball Skills Challenge is a competition open to boys and girls that allows youngsters to showcase their talents in dribbling, passing, and shooting. Top scorers from each age group will advance to a sectional competition, and sectional winners will advance to the state championship.

The Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture Reduced Fee and Severance Youth Scholarship Programs are funded through generous donations from multiple sources including the Windsor Town Board and United Way of Weld County. Reduced fees and scholarships are available for Windsor and Severance residents meeting qualification guidelines including proof of income, household size and proof of residency taken from a property tax certification, utility bill or rental agreement. Applications are available at the front desk of the Community Recreation Center.
Uniforms are sold at the Windsor Community Recreation Center. Recreational uniforms may be exchanged or returned within 10 business days of purchase date if it hasn’t been worn or washed and the tags are still attached
