Opening to Year 7 students in September 2023, the school will cater for students aged 11 to 16 and grow year on year to provide an excellent education for 900 students. Windsor Olympus Academy will be much more than a school. It will be at the heart of the community, supporting families and transforming lives through the power of education. Our purpose is simple: We want our students to achieve their academic and personal potential. We do this by inspiring students to follow their passions, and providing them with the skills and experiences to thrive in learning and life. Students will learn in brilliant facilities, be taught by inspiring teachers and be part of a welcoming and inclusive community. The school will provide students with everything they need to succeed. Windsor Olympus Academy will become the tenth school in the Windsor Academy Trust family. Built on a decade of excellence and dedication to putting children first, our schools work together to unlock students’ academic and personal potential. This collaboration and collective purpose ensure that our students thrive and make a difference in their communities and the world. Helping your child achieve their potential Helping students achieve their potential drives everything that we do. We want our students to have a love and passion for learning, to aspire and become all and more than they ever thought they could be. This means that we focus on much more than academic success. We develop both academic and personal potential, helping students become great learners and great people who thrive and make a difference in the world. Our ASPIRE mountain, shown below, is key to achieving this. It helps students develop the knowledge, learner skills and character virtues to reach the summit and unlock their academic and personal potential. This, combined with our inspiring teaching and learning, extraordinary opportunities and inclusive community, is how we help your child achieve their potential.

A welcoming and inclusive school
Joining secondary school is a big step. It’s important that children settle in quickly to make the best possible start. To help students settle into life at our school, we will be running a comprehensive transition programme in the summer of 2023. As part of the programme, children will be invited to visit their new school. This will allow them to know their way around the school, take part in taster lessons and make friends with other students. Parents will also be invited into school. They will meet our headteacher and leadership team and get all the essential information to help prepare their child for joining the school. Once at our school, your child will experience a welcoming and inclusive community with excellent pastoral care. We will get to know each student well and build good relationships with families. This means that we can work together to get the best for every single student. This positive environment will ensure that your child enjoys their time at our school and is provided with the support they need to succeed. Our house system will provide further support and opportunities for your child. Students will join one of four houses and participate in a range of activities and interhouse competitions. This builds students’ confidence and, importantly, allows them to have fun!
Helping students get off to a great start Our comprehensive transition programme helps students settle quickly into secondary school life and make new friends.

Students will have access to a wide range of support led by our pastoral team and participate in regular health and wellbeing activities. Supporting the community and making a difference in the world We believe in delivering education for the greater good, positively impacting the local community and the world. For us, this means providing students with opportunities to make a difference in their community and more widely. Our school will be at the heart of the community, and students will support the local community in numerous ways, including participating in community projects, raising money for charity and delivering musical and dance performances. It will be a welcoming place for all. Local residents, community groups and sports clubs will be able to use our excellent facilities. Students will also play a critical role in driving sustainability across the school to support our vision of leaving the world in a better place for future generations. This will include joining our eco-club, developing our sustainability strategy and working with organisations promoting sustainability. Our on-site eco-hub is going to be a key part of student life at Windsor Olympus Academy. In our outdoor classroom, students will gain hands-on experience of what it means to build a sustainable environment, enjoy nature and look after our planet.
