WindRiver F&B News WELCOME ROBERT JONES, JR. WindRiver is delighted to introduce Robert Jones as a new member of the WindRiver Team, taking on the role of Food and Beverage Operations Manager. Robert brings an impressive background, having spent 18 years at the Lake Naomi Club in the Pennsylvania Pocono Mountains. Notably, he served as the General Manager from 2013 to 2023, contributing significantly to the club’s success. Lake Naomi, a 3,000acre private club community with 1,800 Members, achieved Platinum Club of America and World designations under Robert’s leadership. Robert’s career commenced with his graduation from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He was part of the culinary team for the opening of Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club in Bradenton, Florida. Now, Robert and his wife, Michelle, have chosen to return to Maryville, Michelle’s hometown, to be close to family. In addition to overseeing Food and Beverage operations, Robert will actively contribute to WindRiver Club Initiatives by collaborating with Club Committees, engaging in Club Benchmarking, and participating in planning and launching the Clubhouse. WindRiver is excited to benefit from Robert’s expertise and to welcome him to our community.

FLAMINGO FRIDAY The Happy Highlanders recently gathered for their Monthly Flamingo Friday party, and the theme was an Italian potluck. Exploring Tennessee REELFOOT LAKE Members took a trip to explore Reelfoot Lake State Park and National Wildlife Refuge and had an amazing day. The recent Eagle Fest was a remarkable experience, with 50 eagle sightings, providing a unique opportunity to witness courtship and nest building. The Live Birds of Prey Program added an extra thrill, as these majestic birds soared close to the audience, creating an unforgettable and impressive encounter!
