Before we get started, keep in mind that this programmed is only compatible with Nvidia GPUs, so if you have Radeon graphics, you're out of luck. How to download GeForce Experience

Don't worry if your graphics driver didn't come with Nvidia's GeForce Experience: you can manually update it. Simply go to the Nvidia GeForce Experience page and press the 'Download Now' button. If it's finished downloading, run the GeForce Experience.exe file to begin the installation process. After you've installed the software, you'll need to either build an Nvidia account or log in with one you already have. If you don't have an account, you can easily create one by signing in with Facebook or Google.

When you're done, a dialogue box will appear, asking you to take a tour. New graphics drivers are still only a couple of clicks away from the GeForce Experience. For major game launches, Nvidia will release new graphics drivers every couple of weeks, so it's a good idea to check in periodically to make sure your drivers are up to date. It's very easy to do this with GeForce Experience. Simply launch the application, navigate to the 'Drivers' tab, and press the "check for updates" button. Normally, GeForce Experience will search for new updates automatically, but it's never a bad idea to double-check.

You'll see a warning at the top of the screen if your graphics driver is up to date. If you don't, you'll see a message with a big green 'Download' button next to it that mentions the new driver. You simply need to select that and wait for the driver to download. Following the completion of the driver update, two additional buttons will appear: "Express Installation" and "Custom Installation." The "Express Installation" is recommended for most users. How to use GeForce Experience to record your gameplay

GeForce Experience will record an entire gameplay walkthrough or even just catch the killstreak you just achieved. If you're in-game, simply press the GeForce Experience hotkey – by default, Alt+Z – to bring up the GeForce Experience overlay. After you've done that, you'll see a number of choices appear. When you press a specific hotkey, Nvidia ShadowPlay will record the last few minutes of gameplay. You can customize Instant Replay by adjusting the amount of time it captures, the video quality, resolution, frame rate, and bitrate in the settings. Most of the settings should be left alone, with the exception of the amount of time recorded. If you want to save a clip from your game, simply press Alt+F10, and it will be saved to the gallery. If you want to manually record your gameplay, GeForce Experience allows you to do so as well. You can start recording by simply clicking the record option in the GeForce Experience overlay. You can also use Alt+F9 without going into the overlay if you only want to use a hotkey without going into the overlay.
