DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT

Leslie Trimbach has always had a creative need to draw and paint. Growing up in a creative and encouraging atmosphere, she learned to explore her talents. At the age of 8 she began watercolor classes with Roger Haas and later received her Fine Art Degree from the University of Dayton. Working from her home studio, Leslie is sought after for her beautiful collections for home decor products as well as gift, wall art and tabletop.

“This collection was inspired by the sweet charm of smalltown America and that classic red, white, and blue—just with a softer, more summery twist. I wanted to lighten things up with soft blue florals, add a pop of brightness with juicy strawberries and blueberries, and mix in handsewn flags and watercolor details to give it that cozy, country feel.

America the Beautiful is all about celebrating what makes this country special—not just the symbols, but the heart behind them. From patriotic icons to simple floral scenes, there’s a little bit of everything in here to spark ideas for quilting, home decor, or whatever you love to make. It’s my love letter to summer, to home, and to the beauty all around us.” ~Leslie

Natalie Briscoe is a Nashville based artist and illustrator that creates for surface design, greeting cards, & children’s publishing. She enjoys making artwork that inspires joy and captures sweet moments between charming characters. Her biggest inspirations are nature, local flora and fauna, and her own childhood memories and nostalgia.

She’s worked with a variety of clients that include American Greetings, Hallmark, Scholastic UK, Modern Sprout, Design House Greetings, and Sellers Publishing.

FOLKY CHICKEN

Folky Chicken brings a fresh folk art twist to the idyllic countryside. Inspired by Nordic folk floral influences, this collection features charming chicken coops and playful garden elements in Natalie’s signature whimsical style. The minimal, bright palette adds an eye-catching, modern touch to the classic homestead aesthetic.

I’ve always loved the spooky, magical side of life—witches, spiders, ghost stories… all of it. My family still teases me about the creepy little drawings I used to make as a kid! So painting Happy Haunting was pure fun for me—a chance to turn that lifelong Halloween obsession into a watercolor collection.

30 years ago, when I was pregnant with my first child, I decided to take a quilting class because I wanted to be able to say I’d made one quilt in my life, and I figured once the baby came my chance would be lost! Since then, I have made countless quilts and have two terrific children, Jenna and Brandon, who are now grown with their own families.
