“I began quilting in 1978, when I saw a Log Cabin pattern in a magazine that I just had to try to make. Since then, I taught myself sewing and quilting, perfected my skills, and conducted workshops throughout the US, Canada, Australia and Europe. My goal is to inspire quilters all over the world with beauty and color.

Recently, I released a new Beginner Pattern, “Starlight”.

I make my quilts with paper foundation techniques; which makes the spikes, stars and flying geese come out crisp and beautiful. I hope you take time to look into my new pattern.” ~Jacqueline

“Every time I set out to design a new collection, I start by looking backward. I open my huge, black leather art file which is filled with all of the original and printed patterns for each collection I’ve designed.

I don’t use Pantone or any color system for my collections. Rather, I hand paint the palette, glue them down to a larger piece of paper, and scribble the name for each color next to it. Then, Windham uses those swatches to digitally create my palettes.” ~Carrie
